Weetabix dupe

I love weetabix but it is just so bloody expensive now!! Can you recommend any shop brands that taste the same? I need my weetabix!!

They all taste the same to me (we get substituted the real one every few weeks so it's not that I've forgotten the flavour!). Tesco one is less crumbly than Waitrose or Sainsbury's.

Aldi’s Wheatbisks, half the price of Weetabix for the same amount and just as nice

I buy Aldi Weetabix and it's fine. Just make sure you put it the right way up.

Theyre all made by weetabix and are pretty close as far as brand matches go

I think they’re all disgusting like something you would feed a horse but DH recommends Tesco version of weetabix and Lidl version of shreddies.

I feed the children the Aldi one and they can’t tell the difference but I can, so I just have porridge instead.

Asda is the best dupe we’ve found over Sainsbury’s, Lidl and Co-op. Not tried Tesco or Aldi though.

Waitrose ones even come in the paper. Asda are pretty good too. The Tesco and aldi ones don’t seem quite right. We’ve tried the lot….

The only store substitute my kids don’t like is the M&S one. Even my husband didn’t like that one.

They like Tescos best, followed by Aldi…

Sainsbury’s own brand are identical to Weetabix. I certainly can’t tell the difference and I would be amazed if they weren’t made in the same factory.

Lidl’s Bixies are distinctly different. They are noticeably bigger & slightly denser than weetabix and absorb much more milk if allowed to do so. I actually prefer them.

Well my 12 year old seems to suddenly be eating about 6 a day, I bought the tesco ones last week and he hasn't complained about the taste

Our local supermarket had a box of 48 weetabix for £7.99 the other week
I went a bit light headed at that and decided Porridge oats were the way forward.
