Revels - anyone else do this?

A lightweight conundrum for you all this cold dark evening …
Bloody love a chocolate Revel. But I hate the coffee ones. 🤢 The orange ones however are 👩‍🍳😘
I bite them in half then chuck it if it’s coffee. Kind of Russian roulette with a bag of chocolate kind of vibe.

Is this wrong? YABU

I have to be in a brave mood to buy Revels as I detest the coffee ones, I too bite them in half but just the smell of coffee can ruin the experience for me. Luckily my favourite are the "naked minstrels" so instead of buying Revels I'll buy "Counters" win win :-)

I wish they did a bag of favourites!! I’d buy the coffee bag!

I also like the orange, raisin and the minstrel type ones.
Hate the toffee! And the cheap Maltesers aren’t great either.

My mum absolutely loved the coffee ones (and all coffee type chocolates) and when I was a kid she used to make me bite into it a tiny bit and give it to her if it was coffee 😂

That's exactly how I eat them too OP. There's always a coffee Revel graveyard on my coffee table.

Stopped buying them when they added raisins, evil fuckers.

Toffees are my favourite, I can identify them by shape so am winning there. I like all the others too as am not fussy (greedy bugger) but raisins are always a disappointment as are Maltesers as if I wanted Maltesers I would buy a bag of them.

The coffee ones are the worst but I don't spit them out, I accept them as the penance I have to pay for the enjoyment of the other flavours. I do bite the similarly-sized ones in half but that's so I can make sure to keep back a couple of half oranges to be the last one I eat as there would be practically nothing more heartbreaking in the world than to eat the last revel and for it to be coffee and there to be no other revels left to take the taste away.

Orange are yum and coffee are yuk! Play a game where pick in turn but they are so similar it's a disaster if you pick the wrong one!

Yabu. Because the orange ones are vile and the coffee ones are bearable. The toffee is too hard, the Maltesers always taste stale. Chocolate raisins are an abomination

Actually I can't remember the last time I bought revels!

This is our family game of Revel Roulette. Roll the die, move your counter and eat your revel!

Still the horror of hoping it was orange or Maltese and getting a bloody coffee !

I've developed a weird allergy to rasins they make my mouth and throat itch so I've stopped eating then it would be like Russian Roulette 😄 I love the coffee flavour though .
