Many, many of you will disagree with mine.

  • runny egg yolk. It turns my stomach watching Four in a Bed when they cut open their poached eggs 🤢 I absolutely love a fried egg with a rock hard yolk though.
  • anything extremely cheesy, like a cheese fondue.
  • a seafood platter.
  • unmelted butter. So I would never have it on sandwiches, for example.
  • pâté

I should be slimmer than I am, but unfortunately my love of cake, crisps and chocolate makes up for the butter and cheese Blush

I hate that flabby unseasoned cold poached salmon you get at old-fashioned weddings.

And summer pudding - wet bread. Any sort of wet bread, tomatoes in sandwiches without a protective lettuce barrier between the bread…

Brazil nuts.

PinkTonic · 14/10/2023 20:03

Tomato ketchup. I cannot be at a table where I can see or smell it and it is never in my house. Snotty egg whites, beetroot and quorn.

Udder??
I agree with the runny yolk, they always show it on things like Master Chef and I need to look away. Otherwise raisins, just can't deal with them at all.

NoraLuka · 14/10/2023 20:11

I am veggie but could never eat bacon because of the smell.

Milk or eggs unless they’re in cake and you can’t see them.

Melted cheese, it’s fine unmelted though.

TheKeatingFive · 14/10/2023 20:12

I eat almost anything, the only things I draw the line at are tripe and porridge.

I'm not awfully fond of oysters either, but I'd eat them.

intergalacticplanetary · 14/10/2023 20:31

Yes, udder 🤮. They weren't well off and she, for some reason I just cannot fathom <ahem>, could get it cheap.

kingkongs · 14/10/2023 20:46

Offal
Olives
Snotty underdone egg white
Celery

RabbitsRock · 14/10/2023 20:46

I like eggs but can’t bear them in things eg on a fish pie or similar. DM used to make a dish with fennel in breadcrumbs that had hard boiled eggs in it - made me heave! I have to stick to fried, scrambled, boiled or poached.
Hate sprouts too

Portakalkedi · 14/10/2023 21:01

All seafood except actual fish - either looks like lumps of phlegm or cockroaches. God knows how anyone can eat that stuff unless it was literally the only thing standing between you and starvation.
Offal.
Those fancy enormously decorated cakes you see on FB etc, I just think of all the fingers all over it, often in manky looking kitchens with dogs/kids roaming about, not the slightest nod to hygiene.. yuk.
Lamb shank ( think that's what it's called), an actual leg on a plate with the bone sticking out, same goes for ribs, yes I eat meat but these things make me heave.

Mydogmybestfriend · 14/10/2023 21:02

Jelly ells, oysters, cockles. I love sea food but that's a no.

Duck I just love ducks I can't eat them they're like dogs to me

Claireshh · 14/10/2023 21:03

Egg shell
prawn shell

if I eat any accidentally I can’t eat another mouthful.

I hate fat on meat too.

Oh and overly rare meat.

jay55 · 14/10/2023 21:04

Mashed potato (and any mashed veg really)
Prawns
Rice pudding
Custard
Sweetcorn
French beans

I'll try anything but am also super fussy

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 14/10/2023 21:06

Jelly in pork pie
Port crackling
Coriander
Basil
Mint sauce
Liver
Aubergine
Sprouts

Mammyloveswine · 14/10/2023 21:06

Oh I love a runny yolk but hate a snotty white! Underdone boiled eggs make me retch!

Proseccoagain · 14/10/2023 21:08

All salad vegetables; just cannot eat them, I would throw up, and have been sick eating salad.
Coriander.tastes revolting to me.
Mayonnaise - why is it in every sandwich?
Liver.
