Many, many of you will disagree with mine.

  • runny egg yolk. It turns my stomach watching Four in a Bed when they cut open their poached eggs 🤢 I absolutely love a fried egg with a rock hard yolk though.
  • anything extremely cheesy, like a cheese fondue.
  • a seafood platter.
  • unmelted butter. So I would never have it on sandwiches, for example.
  • pâté

I should be slimmer than I am, but unfortunately my love of cake, crisps and chocolate makes up for the butter and cheese Blush

Sweetcorn 🤮
mushrooms
cucumber

Dontcallmescarface · 14/10/2023 17:46

Melted butter...adverts showing it on jacket potatoes, or worse, sliding down a corn on the cob, just make me want to heave.

bacon...no idea what it tastes like as the smell of it is enough to put me off

Marrow...just no.

Fish (unless coated in batter and served with chips or fish fingers). Especially Sushi

Roast potatoes...there I've said it and nothing anybody says will change my mind on that.

Inextremis · 14/10/2023 17:48

Jellied eels
Coleslaw

GrinchmasEve · 14/10/2023 17:49

Snotty egg whites
Gravy on something where it’s not been cooked in it (chips and gravy… 🤢)
Tripe
Dill - the herb of the devil.

Rooma · 14/10/2023 17:51

Fruit salad
tinned fish/meat

Aurora2023 · 14/10/2023 17:54

Potatoes ("WHAT ? Even roast ?? Even chips??") Is all I ever hear. Hate them

Truffle flavoured stuff

Barbecue sauce

Yorkshire puds (see potatoes above. No one can believe it)

DramaAlpaca · 14/10/2023 17:56

Mainly fish:

Shellfish of any kind
Tinned tuna - the smell makes me heave
Most other fish, unless it's smothered in batter
Sushi
Also offal of any kind
Fatty meat

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 14/10/2023 18:00

I'll eat almost anything. I dislike extremely strong salty, fishy things - taramasalata and caviar. Also oysters, tripe and okra. That's pretty much all I won't eat.

SweetFemaleAttitude · 14/10/2023 18:00

Eggs make me want to be sick. Even the smell knocks me sick. Runny yolks make me feel ill and seeing someone dip something into a runny egg, well just typing that made me balk.

Custard
Smooth mash (lumpy is fine)
Rice pudding
Porridge

Witchbitch20 · 14/10/2023 18:01

Mushrooms

Bluecheese

Offal

luckydaytoday · 14/10/2023 18:02

Black forest gateau
Party rings
Jammy dodgers
Bakewell tart
Fruit cake
Anything soaked in too much oil e.g. roasted peppers

I love the taste of mushrooms but totally get the grim look/texture thing.

Cowlover89 · 14/10/2023 18:03

Courgette and aubergine

Surely2023IsTheYearForMyRainbowBaby · 14/10/2023 18:03

Sherrystrull · 14/10/2023 17:09

The jelly in pork pie
Cottage cheese
Courgette
Cous cous

That's the best part of a pork pie!!

Surely2023IsTheYearForMyRainbowBaby · 14/10/2023 18:05

WhatWillEyeCallMyself · 14/10/2023 17:14

Rice pudding 🤢

Definitely!! Love rice love risotto but rice pudding absolutely not 🤢

Cowlover89 · 14/10/2023 18:05

Surely2023IsTheYearForMyRainbowBaby · 14/10/2023 18:03

That's the best part of a pork pie!!

It's what makes a pork pie! 😋

NotFastButFurious · 14/10/2023 18:06

a whole fish
i can eat pretty much anything else!

pastabest · 14/10/2023 18:06

Melon

Baked beans

OneTC · 14/10/2023 18:06

Never found anything that I flat out cannot eat. I wouldn't cry if I never had another oyster though, but if they were all that's going I would eat them.

Surely2023IsTheYearForMyRainbowBaby · 14/10/2023 18:08

@Cowlover89 it does!! I can no longer eat them now as I'm wheat and gluten intolerant but if I ever had a pork pie and there was no jelly inside it. That was the pork pie ruined for me

OneTC · 14/10/2023 18:09

Actually someone offered me a rat on a stick once and I said no. But I was more worried about eating random foods being shoved through the car window than the fact it was a rat on a stick. I would eat rat if it hadn't been caught on a local rubbish dump an indeterminate amount of time ago

Pleasedontdoit2023 · 14/10/2023 18:10

Offal
Celery
Seafood
Pineapple
absolutely couldn’t eat ay of this 🤮

CloudyAgain · 14/10/2023 18:10

Jellied eels. On that show 'Back in time for dinner' (excellent show!) the maid of the family had to eat them at one point. Just recalling it makes me vomity.

Blood pudding.

My mother used to crumb and fry lambs brains, chill them then eat them in white bread sandwiches with salad cream. That.

cwigley · 14/10/2023 18:12

Runny yolk and those times when you get "snotty" egg white, when it's been seriously undercooked Envy

Olives.

Hot tinned tuna. Tuna is for eating cold only!

MrsDanversChickenSandwich · 14/10/2023 18:12

Beans.

I don't care if it's beans on toast, chili con carne, Tuscan three bean soup or cassoulet. I just bloody hate beans.

FloweryWowery · 14/10/2023 18:12

Sugared almonds. Thankfully easy to avoid particularly as i'm of an age that I go to fewer weddings.
