I've never broken a bone or given birth, but I have had some very painful periods that have made me feel like I'm going to pass out. Also terrible travel sickness / vomiting on a 20 hour trip that left me wishing for death due to how crap I felt.

surgical termination. felt like medieval torture

DrCoconut · 03/10/2023 21:39

Kidney stone

dutysuite · 03/10/2023 21:39

When I was 12 I accidentally stabbed my foot with a garden fork, it didn’t hurt that much until I had the hole sewn up the next day.

Mb57 · 03/10/2023 21:39

Sciatica! I had this 3 months ago and still recovering I have never felt such pain before and I had 2 children

Insertoriginalnamehere · 03/10/2023 21:39

Biliary spasm - gallstones++++++

truthhurts23 · 03/10/2023 21:39

When I had my wisdom teeth out, don’t remember if it was infected or dry sockets but i kept walking into my dentist office crying and begging them for an appointment, i wanted to bang my head on the wall

Squirrel25 · 03/10/2023 21:39

Appendicitis (worst)
Childbirth
Spiral leg fracture

satellitesunshine · 03/10/2023 21:40

oh and afterbirth pains. genuinely thought i was dying

Sunshinesally78 · 03/10/2023 21:41

Slipped disc pressing on a nerve it went on for months I considered suicide a number of times, it was 10 times worse for me than giving birth or having a c section.

Haggisfish3 · 03/10/2023 21:41

Local anaesthetic injected into inner labia for a biopsy.

BorisIsACuntWaffle · 03/10/2023 21:41

Appendicitis. Induction. Recovery from c section

Raverquaver · 03/10/2023 21:41

Breastfeeding, especially my 1st baby. Didn't get the latch right the first few days and just persevered in my pigheadidness. The tip of my nipple was hanging off, in a vicious cycle of scabbing over and then bleeding again, I still have the scars from it. I'd kick out in pain every time the baby had to latch on again. Took 4 weeks to heal.

Liverpoolgirl50 · 03/10/2023 21:41

Medical termination without a doubt. The whole room span, my ears started ringing and I thought I going to pass out. Thankfully it didn’t last long.

Very close second is quincy.. my c section isn’t very high up at all!

SocksAndTheCity · 03/10/2023 21:42

Dental abscess definitely the worst, but sciatica not far behind it - when I could actually manage to get up I had to walk in tiny steps around the edge of the room with my hands on the wall to take as much weight off my back as I could.

The delight known as 'javelin arse' would be on the list too, although it's thankfully left me alone for a while.

x2boys · 03/10/2023 21:42

Tooth ache with an abcess,I have had two bad labours but the pain was controlled tooth ache wss far worse

CheshireCat1 · 03/10/2023 21:42

RA flare, especially if it’s a shoulder or elbow.

PriOn1 · 03/10/2023 21:42

Not the most intense pain I’ve experienced, but the worst was a disc prolapse in my lumbar spine, with severe sciatica that made sleeping impossible, even with strong painkillers. I’d always thought I was quite resilient, but the lack of sleep made it very quickly unbearable.

Not sure whether the most intense was from my gall bladder infection or during contractions when my baby got stuck with the bones of his skull against the bones in my pelvis. That was probably marginally worse.

Northernsoul72 · 03/10/2023 21:42

Thrombosed haemorrhoid. Never ever want that again

BorisIsACuntWaffle · 03/10/2023 21:42

Also pregnancy BOOBS omg even rolling over.

tillytoodles1 · 03/10/2023 21:42

Tooth extraction when the dentist left a nerve exposed. I was screaming with pain.

Justforlaughs66 · 03/10/2023 21:42

When I damaged my sciatica nerve. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I've given birth 4 times and it doesn't even come close to the sciatica nerve. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Velvetpaws75 · 03/10/2023 21:43

Nerve pain from bone on bone arthritis in my spine, degenerative disc disease, a big spinal cyst and bone on bone arthritis in my hip
So bad I am puffing through it as if I am in labour and feel like I am going to vomit
Not had a normal nights sleep for two years because of this
Even morphine doesn’t touch it

FoxBaseBeta · 03/10/2023 21:43

Kidney infection
Thrombosed haemorrhoid
Post c section trapped wind and constipation

HowAboutTheLittleSpoon · 03/10/2023 21:43

Labour - genuinely thought I was going to die with my 3rd DC. A very close second is gallstones

Miriam101 · 03/10/2023 21:43

Induction with no pain relief
