How clean or dirty is your house right now?

My partner and I are in disagreement. My partner thinks that my standards of cleanliness are exceptionally high, and I think that my partner has exceptionally low standards.

So, how clean or dirty is your house right now? Would you be willing to post a photograph of your kitchen in the state that it is in right now?

I’m liking the central washing machine, @HurdyGurdy19 — maybe they are unjustly relegated to utilities, and we should all place them centrally and dance round them etc.

Immaculate as the cleaner has just been. Now it will slowly decline in tidy ness until next week…

We have low standards which do bother me, but with a chronically ill DH I can only do as much as I can. There's usually some washing up in the corner for a few days (most goes in the dishwasher but what can't...) And the house is too cluttered for my liking but not in a way that impacts use. But I'm working on it. I'm happy for friends to come over but would do a blitz before family.

I'm in a severe mh decline with ongoing chronic pain just now and I cry every 2 days about my house. The mess I'm living in and how I can't get out of it. And how sorry I at to ds he has to live like this too
There is clutter, clothes piles literally everywhere (albeit clean) even on the cooker, nothing has a place, ds is in a double bed with me with a KS mattress so overhangs, curtains all need washed, everything needs done from top to bottom tbh. Unreal how hard it is to manage when you can't see a way through

Decent but not my usual Monica clean standard as we are getting to grips with parenthood. It's been hard to lower my standards - tried and failed spectacularly to be superwoman 🦸. The garden is a total jungle as it has been neglected - about to see if I can get a local gardener in to tame it before the winter comes so we've got a fighting chance next spring 😬
