Hi

I'm sweltering in 30 degrees , inside is cooler at 24 with blinds drawn

One of my cats is inside with me, the other an ex stray tomcat, black, is refusing to come inside apart from trips in for food or use his litter tray , he is resolutely sitting under a parasol in garden on a chair

Aibu to think I should coax him in and shut the door to garden?

I got one of those cooling mats for my two enormous black floofballs, thinking that they might struggle in the heat. Of course, they completely ignored it, and one of them even avoided running over it when he was having zoomies by showjumping over it. And when I put the other cat on it she was very unimpressed.

Yes, I have bought these before, my boy cat avoided it, and my girl walked over it like it was hot coals so I gave them away

Today, both my black loonies are outside, normally female stays in if too hot, I have gourmet sensations chilling in fridge for lunch
