I feel the need to email the seller a question....

That instantly makes me think of the stereotypical lunatic, tin foil hat on head, "They can't read my thoughts now" - just seems that sort of odd thing

StripeyMamaSpanx · 29/02/2008 20:14

Isn't it just great?

"Based on the measurement of the Lost Cubit" which is so sacred and secret that nobody knows how long it is

lololol

Blandmum · 29/02/2008 20:18

'It is claimed That The Tesla Personal Oscillator was the most popular gadget of 1907 '

Christ, the hours must have flown by in 1907!

quint · 29/02/2008 20:19

Well I think you're all being harshly unfair and have just ordered 10!!!!!

cmotdibbler · 29/02/2008 20:20

Tesla was also terrified of women, round things, hair, and let feral pigeons live in his apartment.....

theUrbanDryad · 29/02/2008 20:20

as a mad yoghurt weaving hippy myself

yes

StripeyMamaSpanx · 29/02/2008 20:26

Well I am a fair bit of one meself but surely this peice of shite takes the biscuit???

I am going to send it to the Guardian's Bad Science geezer - he'll have a field day.

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 20:27

a cubit was a measurement from biblical times, its dimensions have been recorded.....

anyhoo, anything that claims to alter DNA and help with astral projection is just too good to be true

but i bet they have sold loads!

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 20:28

a cubit is 45.72 centimetres

mollymawk · 29/02/2008 20:28

Quint, you're such a sucker. Each device emits such a vast amount of energy that you only need one.
I am going to get one so as to Enhance my Manifesting Skills. I'm fed up with turning invisible the whole time.

StripeyMamaSpanx · 29/02/2008 20:29

Oh yes a cubit I know about, but this is the Lost Cubit.

Its different.

Special.

Astral.

Significant.

"The "Lost Cubit" is derived from the sum of the polar and equatorial circumferences of the Earth, in inches, divided into the speed of light. It therefore relates to Earth natural harmonics in a special way...

The Tesla Purple Energy Shield? incorporates an internal Ethero-Magnetic? caduceus orgone generating coil which utilises the magickal and sacred 'lost cubit' measurement, a meaurement so profound that its precise value can not be found in ancient or modern literature. Only select few individuals and scientists are aware of its actual value."

it is hysterical ! i think the tesla oscillator is just a vibrator , so ner!

StripeyMamaSpanx · 29/02/2008 20:36

Oh yes, out-of-body ethereal astral orgasms all the way.

OP posts:
mollymawk · 29/02/2008 20:36

Very probably. That would explain its popularity in 1907 then.

Lulumama · 29/02/2008 20:37

talk about money for old rope though !

quint · 29/02/2008 21:04

Mollyhawk - for a minute there I thought you thought I was serious - doh!

schneebly · 29/02/2008 21:07

I once filled in a stupid quiz called "who were you in a previous life?" and it claimed that I was Nikola Tesla - Madness! I would never let pigeons in my apartment!

TrinityRhino · 29/02/2008 21:10

how did you even find that?? lol

yurt1 · 29/02/2008 21:10

bloody hell look at how many he's sold. Check the cost of his stuff on feedback.

Am off to knock something up in the shed and charge $89. Anyone want to join me?

PortAndLemon · 29/02/2008 21:11

Isn't a caduceus a stick with two snakes entwined round it? I don't think I'd want to carry something incorporating that around with me, whether it was Ethero-Magnetic? or not.

StripeyMamaSpanx · 29/02/2008 21:12

Ah well. Same place I found the scary dolls the other week....

OP posts:
yurt1 · 29/02/2008 21:12

I'm getting an ultra davanced psychotronic money magnet. That's $89 too.

Bloody hell wish I'd thought of it.
