Desperate for help (Birmingham, Twitter, car keys, NCP)

AIBU to beg for help from strangers on the internet?

I’m on holiday in Birmingham with three kids. I parked in an NCP car park on Monday night and we’ve been staying in a car park since.

We checked out this morning to leave and head home (Brighton) via Coventry to see my Nan (90 years old).

I can’t find my car keys 🤦🏻‍♀️

I haven't RTFT but I have read the OP's posts and skimmed many of the others. Given that, if the OP (or others are seeking to apportion blame then I think that's misguided) but given the stress and cost involved, I think it's perfectly reasonable to be very angry at NCP for not answering the phone.

So you must have dropped them as you left the car park, but didn’t you also have a recollection of subsequently pulling them out of your bag and thinking you didn’t need them for whatever it was you were doing at that point? So isn’t the chronology a bit wrong?

I just read through her posts, she said she thought she had but wasn't sure.
