When does this gaslighting of women stop? We don't need to see women with their boobs cut off in an advertising context.

Please please please complain, I can't begin to describe how distressing and intrusive this is

I have had a double mastectomy, my daughters and nieces are currently awaiting genetic test results to see if they need a double mastectomy too. My daughter cried inconsolably when she saw this - she knows how much pain and disability this operation has caused me and might yet cause her.

And we are confronted by this sick horrific image turning our fear, pain and disability into some sort of idealised fantasy!

We've got 2 near us. One is a lovely place to be, a good team of staff, immaculately clean and they have baby groups meet there regularly. The other one, slightly further away, is GRIM. Absolutely filthy, staff couldn't give a monkeys, flies on the uncovered food. There is no way I'd go in that one to feed. How that one is still going is beyond me.

Costa hasn't belonged to Whitbread for several years. It belongs to Coca-Cola.

Although if I'd known that Coca Cola now own it I would have done that a long time ago.

Our closest one is a filthy shithole staffed by slightly effeminate nasty young men who look down their perfectly made up noses at you if you dare to ask for a coffee anyway but this is another good reason not to go

I do however have a problem with mutilation of healthy body parts being celebrated and used for advertising

@Gateappreciation most of us didn't know anything about this, Costa express is completely different to the cafes.

You'll more than likely see these in shops, and service stops.

Staff are more concerned with our hours being slashed to bare minimum and having to do 12 hour shifts with 4 staff instead of 8.

Cola had ruined Costa, the ingredients are now cheap rubbish and the food is all smaller but the costs have risen a lot

Never setting foot in Costa again, they clearly HATE women. Use your economic power!

In one sense I can see the problem but honestly, if someone hadn't pointed it out I wouldn't have given a second thought to the picture. I certainly wouldn't have thought 'Oh that's a transman'.
