So FUCKING sick of printers

Why the fuck do they never work? I'm so sick of this shit. We can find a covid vaccine but nobody has been able to create a printer that actually, you know, fucking works?

I'm especially really sick to the bloody back teeth of "HP Smart". Why does this app exist and why does it force me to sign in when I just qant to do some basic bitch task like photocopy something. And now my printer isn't working again so clearly not that Smart are you?

Just seriously sick of printers, every time there's some "Issue", companies need to get their shit together. Latest one has WiFi apparently, but does it work? No, it fucking doesn't. That's fine I guess I'll just a cable like its the 80s

We have a Lexmark at work, and I swear I'd have a better time just writing and copying shit out.

I enjoyed hurling ours out too. Onto the patio, would only work when the other equally shit printer was in the system.

My absolute favourite is when it stops mid-job and claims 'printer not found'. Obviously the print job is urgent and this just adds stress.

I also like 'printer offline'. Even though it's merrily printing.

Agree with pp - they smell fear...and are even more 'helpful' when you're up against a deadline.

I recently bought a little Brother printer that requires me to plug a cable in. Sooooo much easier than doing it via wifi or whatever.

So far it's worked!

Avoid Hp - the tears I’ve cried over those. I work for myself and have to print off very important documents under immense time pressure. I bought an Epsom don’t want to jinx it. I bought a second so it sits in reserve if the first conks.

Could be worse though - one of the big printers at work has had its language stuck on Korean for about the last year and no one has the time/motivation to figure out how to turn it back to English.

Everyone will learn the Korean phrases which will take ages rather than mending the printer. This is EXACTLY what would happen.
