For me it’s BBC’s 1995 Pride and Prejudice. Absolute perfection, I wouldn’t change a thing!

Breaking bad. I didn’t watch it for years because it wasn't my sort of thing, but covid lock down forced my hand out of desperation. OMG, I wish I could watch it for the first time again. It was perfection. See also Better call Saul.

@Aposterhasnoname I ended up preferring better call Saul! So good!

ladygindiva · 28/07/2023 20:29

Ripper Street. So underrated and in my view the best piece of television ever made. I also loved pride and prejudice.

Better call Saul was superb, it was whisker close between the two. BB only wins because it introduced me to that world.

The BBC Pride and Prejudice is my favourite of all time. Blackadder is a classic too.

The only recent show that I absolutely love to bits is Derry Girls; every time I rewatch it, it just cracks me up. I think it'll always be a favourite of mine!

BoJack Horseman, it's a cartoon about a horse but it made me SOB.

Its among the funniest and the saddest show I’ve ever seen.

Some of the episodes are so daring in terms of narrative too. The episode from the perspective of his abusive mother, in the midst of dementia, is just magnificent (as are several others).
