DH has just put the dishwasher on a long cycle in the middle of the day 😡 I have all of his family coming shortly for a meal to celebrate his birthday.

surely everyone knows that during the day it’s a short cycle and overnight it’s a long cycle.

now I have to wait 3 bastard hours for it to finish with the pots building up.

of course slightly lighthearted but what does give you the rage?

Huge SUVs in London, especially if they're speeding.

Why wouldn't you turn it off and put it on again on a short cycle.

My fella does it with the washing machine.

My family's holiday being restricted due to the 90 day limit and their constant moaning about it. They bloody voted for it!

When people who have the luxury of not having to work to support themselves come on MN and accuse working mums of “farming out” their children by using childcare to enable them to work to support their families.

If someone ever said it to my face I would struggle to restrain myself from being very abusive. But of course no one has the balls to actually say it, it’s all from the comfort of a keyboard.

The trash collectors not emptying a bin if the trash level is high enough to make the lid ajar, even if it’s only ajar by about an inch. Way to solve any problems with littering and fly tipping.

I’m going to go smash his mail box with a baseball bat some day. I can feel myself slowly slipping towards the edge of self control.

People parking their vehicles up on pavements. I live in a village with normal sized roads so not in a crowded town or city yet people think it’s perfectly ok to park their great big SUV’s and cars up on the pavement and often the whole car on the pavement too. It boils my piss, it means the elderly, wheelchair users and people with small dc and pushchairs have to walk onto the road.
And people in general give me the rage these days, I think they are getting more and more inconsiderate in all aspects of live.

The dickheads who park on the zigzags in the very narrow street outside school in the mornings. I swear I am normally a placid person but I have had a screaming row with one woman who parked right outside the school gate and her kid opened the car door right into me, and I honestly considered smashing the window of one who stopped at the gates blocking the road, did a 3 point turn so far up someone's drive she was practically in their door, then drove off not looking and almost hitting the buggy my friend was pushing (already on the road). Arseholes! Thank fuck it's the holidays and my blood pressure gets 6 weeks to recover.

Or and people moving into our semi rural village (we’ve had two large estates built recently) then moaning about tractors, country smells etc.

There's a narrow street near me that only one car can go down at a time, but isn't one way. If there's another car, one waits at the end, or backs up if necesssary.

If I'm driving along it and I meet a cyclist, I wait at a widish part so the cyclist can pass safely. There's one guy I do this for semi-regularly, who never thanks me or even acknowledges my existence. Gives me the rage!

(Not an anti-cyclist rant btw, just this one guy.)
