Ndn dcats

I live next door but 1 to a young woman with 2 gorgeous dcats.
She works ft but has family check on the dcats every week day.
I am retired and have lots of time on my hands. I have 2 dcats and 1 ddog. I started feeding her dcats a couple of years ago. They are very timid compared to mine. Took me a while but with food and plenty of treats I had them coming in for breakfast every morning.. I even feed ddog outside now so they aren't scared off...As it was becoming quite costly feeding 4 I mentioned to YW how much they were costing me. She wasn't forthcoming with cash towards the food. In fact she asked that I didn't feed them. As she works all day I feel they need more company so have kept feeding them. Sadly 1 was ill YW told me. So I swapped their food and YW hasn't mentioned it since. To confirm to YW her dcats are neglected I told her other people in our cul-de-sac are fed up of them coming into their homes... Not sure if they are but feel she needs to either rehome them or give up work.. Aibu?

*Please read the OP's update before posting (heads up - this is a reverse)

Fucking hell leave her cats alone
They are her cats, not yours and you're totally out of order

Or is it a reverse which would be even more annoying?

Pkhsvd · 13/07/2023 13:00

Sorry but you think she needs to be home all day for her cats? Is she home in the evening?
I really don’t understand why you’re feeding her cats! Just stop.

ilovesooty · 13/07/2023 13:02

Look after your own pets and leave hers alone.

You are batshit. She does not need to be home all day for HER cats. YOU need to STOP feeding her cats and mind your own business.

Drews · 13/07/2023 13:11

Why should she be forthingcoming to pay for food? You decided to start feeding them and you should bloody well stop. They're not your cats.

Whichclubisittonight · 13/07/2023 13:11

Sigh.

WunWun · 13/07/2023 13:12

Don't waste you breath people, this is complete nonsense.

EffortlesslyInelegant · 13/07/2023 13:12

So many dcats and ddogs. Is there something wrong with just 'cats' and 'dogs'? 🙄

wineandcheeseplease · 13/07/2023 13:14

You are being totally and utterly unreasonable! Stop feeding them!!

LadyJ2023 · 13/07/2023 13:16

Hate when people feed other peoples pets, there not yours end of. Your the one who encouraged them to your area.leave them alone.

HairyMcHairyFace · 13/07/2023 13:17

You might want to work on your sentence structure, punctuation and paragraphing before you do your GCSEs OP.

Idrankyourbananamilk · 13/07/2023 13:19

Reported. Apologies OP if this was genuine/a reverse but it sounds too batshit to be true.

Gladreel · 13/07/2023 13:22

This seems plausible... 🫠

Sadaboutdcatsnextdoor · 13/07/2023 13:23

A reverse. And apologies to the Grammer Police. Mid gardening with sunglasses on!. Dd has actually contacted the rescue about handing them back due to the mad woman and her ramblings.. I have suggested dd go speak to these other neighbours apparently scared to let their dc out for fear dcats will be awaiting food. The dcats don't even come to other family members never mind strangers. Dd is very upset. Dcats are well loved and cared for.

Crazy cat lady 🚨

RoseBucket · 13/07/2023 13:24

Although my cats would love her and take full advantage

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 13/07/2023 13:24

This can't be real.
But just in case...
OP - FFS STOP FEEDING OTHER PEOPLE'S CATS.

spir1t · 13/07/2023 13:24

Just feed all the dcats OP. Are they locked out all day? What about in the winter? If they're cold, let them in (unless you feel this is displacing your own cats). Anyway, it's her own fault if she's locking them out all day.

Drews · 13/07/2023 13:24

fucks sake.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 13/07/2023 13:25

And it's a reverse 🙄

dementedpixie · 13/07/2023 13:26

So it's your cats and the other woman is feeding them and causing issues with the neighbours?

Idrankyourbananamilk · 13/07/2023 13:27

Ah apologies OP! I’ll see if I can remove my report.

One of my friends at work is feeding and encouraging her neighbours cats, and hoping they “choose her” as obviously home life they currently have must be awful and neglected to make them roam. I’ve tried explaining that cats are mercenary little feckers that go with the food and then back home, but she’s still being pushy with them.

Your DD should ignore. If she persists, perhaps pay for a solicitor letter to make her cease and desist? Cats don’t care if you leave them to go to work!

TimesRwo · 13/07/2023 13:27

So not only is it a reverse, you’re neither of the people involved?

Sadaboutdcatsnextdoor · 13/07/2023 13:29

My dd's dcats. Sorry if that's an offence asking for support for someone else!
