Bear with me....

I know he's 73 & he's got 3 decades on me but I am becoming obsessed after seeing him in concert last week.

I've found some old concert videos from the 70s and 80s and can't believe how magnetic he is and was on stage!

I love my DP but AIBU to say I wouldn't miss a beat to disappear with Bruce for a night?!

You're fine. I have a thing for young John Lennon (1965/66 was a fine period for him) and he's been dead longer than I've been alive. It's not as weird as that, at least yours is still breathing. Crack on!

We will be in Milan for the Monza date. Tickets still available. You lot are talking me into it....

claracluck1978 · 13/07/2023 17:34

Go. Don't think about it. Just book tickets. And thank us later

I'm honestly loving the look now. Which worries me as I generally don't have my head turned by pensioners!

I've seen him a few times so it's not like I'm new to the Bruce party but i just can't believe how hot he is now.

I can see the attraction but currently have my head turned by a slightly younger pensioner in the music business.

Was a huge fan of Midnight Oil back in my late teen and utterly smitten with their tall, gangly, bald front man. Got to see them on tour last year and the sight of him on stage well and truly resurrected all the feels, after 30+ years. If we were both single I'd be on the next flight to Australia.

At my age I should know better than to get in to a car with an older stranger, but....

That’s some serious sexy forearm action, right there.

I am looking at Montreal. It's not somewhere I've ever really considered but I'd quite like to go. There are tickets. I'd be miles away but could hear him just fine.

I've just crunched the numbers and it's not looking good at all. It's the flights that are the main issue.

Munich is very doable but it's sold out!

I was spoilt by being in the golden circle at Hyde Park last week. With my favorite band I usually pay for early entry and/or get there really early to be right at the front.

I don't think I could bear one of those stadium gigs where you're miles away.

claracluck1978 · 16/07/2023 13:08

We were close to the stage too & I love the feel of these huge gigs from the front. I've been to Hyde Pk gigs before and been much further back which wasn't much fun. I used to live in central london so have also just sat outside HP and listened to the music which wasn't much different really to being at the back.

Luckily every time I've seen Springsteen it's been with people happy to head in early. But next time I think I fancy a smaller more intimate venue if he does any more live shows.

I am so hoping Monza goes ahead tomorrow- lots of rain and thunderstorms!

claracluck1978 · 25/07/2023 07:22

I really hope you get the full show tonight & hope the rain stays away for you.

Enjoy!
