I need your help with sneaky DH

Took rings off last night left on side of the kitchen sink.
Came down from work and engagement ring has disappeared....mild panic.

Sneaky DH has hidden the ring. I've feigned disinterest but the stakes are high - we now have a game and I have all morning to find it.

All I've been told is it's somewhere in the kitchen. I've had most of the cupboards out and looked in all the glasses etc.

We have young DC so it's nowhere they would be able to find it.

All very petty and I was on the verge of texting for a clue....

I just can't get over his smug face coming and showing me where it was. It will be somewhere obvious I know it.

AIBU to ask for any suggestions? Please help - I need a win today

I think it might be my ADHD brain, I don’t have a problem with playful relationships but just thought of searching for a ring within the confines of a kitchen for 3 hours sounds excruciatingly boring to me. I would have given up after 5 minutes and had a lie down 😂

Gutted I've only just seen this post and missed the game. But at the same time I'm enjoying reading all the not-needed comments. This is something me and my OH would do (if I had an engagement ring), and although I would've got fed up, theres no way I'm losing.This feed has shown me how different people want different things in their relationship. I love the silly things that me and my partner do that bring our inner child.Way too many kids pissed in their mums cornflakes during this post....

I also suppose that I am thinking that it is a bit odd perhaps is that all of us do what others would regard as odd/weird/cheesy etc in relationships etc but, I would never post on a public forum about clearly something that is to others a bit cringy/annoying.
I have been with my H for 30 years and we do plenty of cheesy/cringey things but, i would never ask anyone's opinions or advice of them as i am aware they are private and not everyone needs to be invested on my husband and my in-jokes!!

Would be 3 hours inbetween doing other things, not solidly. Cooking, dishwasher, coming in for a drink etc.
