How long has this been going on ?

My DH has a goatee kind of thing (he changes it occasionally and sometimes it's a beard and sometimes it's not IYSWIM?!!) I like it but Dh keeps it trimmed around his mouth.
How long is his?! Is it like a proper beard with a tash and everything?
I'm not keen on those either but wouldn't have started even going out with a guy with a proper beard, and if he didn't have one in the first place and then started growing one I'd claim it was grounds for divorce! (I'm obviously a very mean selfish person when it comes to my DH!!)

Hes only 22. I managed to get him to trim it very, very short for our wedding, but he wouldnt shave with a razor.

Now its back... with a vengance!

The hairs are about half an inch long. He trimmed his 'tash when I refused nookie the other night but wont trim the rest.

He was only 12 when we met so DEFINATLY didnt have one then! lol

when dh was too lazy to shave decided to grow a beard,i told him that i dont like beards,and i wouldnt have been attracted to him if he'd had a beard when we met.i have refused to kiss him when its got long as well.

he's taken to shaving again now,thankfully.

I very rarely shave my legs (not in protest, more cos I'm cold!!) but DH doesn't even realise (if he does he's not said) but does notice when I do shave (IYSWIM)
Anyway. . . . .

My OH went through that stage a few years ago and had a full beard. Thing is, he didn't even trim it so it was really shaggy and unkempt. I wasn't a big fan tbh but like you say, it's his body so didn't feel I could really complain. He looks so much better now it's gone.

I loke beards, but I appreciate others don't. However YABU - it's his face. How would you feel if he started telling you which hair he prefered you didn't have?

I love DH's beard (see profile)Sometimes it tickles, but I'd never ask him to trim it just before nookie, because that makes it spiky. He usually trims it in the morning & by bedtime it's gone soft again.
