You can't 100% accurately identify them but there are certain traits that act as markers of those to avoid e.g., using Telegram, being proudly right wing, etc
I mean just look at Telegrams response to this compared to the other media platforms involved. Facebook, YouTube etc made the usual statements of this content has no place on their plaforms / we're working hard to remove this content, which while not great at least tows the line of trying to stop unacceptable content.
Working hard 😂 people have been reporting content on their own platform for years that's targeted for people who like seeing monkeys harmed. About four years ago I saw a few videos by animal rights activists about the playlists yet they remained. There's ones of children too, usually a collections of vids added to public playlists from family influencers and people calling influencer mums out for the type of angles and titles ans poses they make their children do for views get told they're just jealous and that their children consent to making vids like that toilet, people have been trying to raise awareness about that for year and no doubt YouTube will come out with the same shit when the family vlogger stuff goes mainstream too.
I got called a nutter for raising awa
So yeah, anyone who uses telegram should be given a wide bearth.
I know plenty of people who use telegram and they are left wing vegans. Yes dodgy people use the messaging app but it's not a marker that they get off on watching suffering.
YouTube and Facebook don't give a fuck either, YouTuber itself has playlists curated by people who hate monkeys and some animal rights youtubers have been trying to raising awareness in this for years. Facebook leaves up animal cruelty images all the time too. I've lost count if the amount of videos and one photos showing animal or human abuse I've reported to receive the generic "no guidelines broken".
Another thing, there's been some exposés of animal rescue content creators who show footage of themselves finding animals in distress and rescuing them from death and it turned out they were the ones abusing the animals and putting them in dangerous situations to be the one to rescue them, I haven't checked recently but those people hadn't been banned or looked into either.
I can only assume the platforms who claim tj be working hard to remove it, don't remove it or leave it up so long because the user engagement and money is more important than the animal welfare.
Every social media platform has some nasty sick depraved humans on there but not everyone who used them is supports or shares those images.
