Prices are extortionate
Your looking at £10 for a gin
I have a foldable wine bottle holder which I plan on putting gin in and putting it in back of jeans
Buying lemonade from inside with a glass than adding my own gin
Would you do it ?

If you need it to enjoy your night put, do it. Kind of go with the attitude that you may have to hand it over or you may be removed yourself 🤷🏻

I'm been to four festivals and concerts this year with lovely big boobs. Half a bottle on each side. Fuck 'em if they didn't make me wait for 15 minutes in a queue and then charge £9 for a small wine I wouldn't do it. Charge normal prices, have enough staff and be organised then I'll buy your wine.

Mathematics may not be your forté when compared to your knack for hyperbole, but if it takes a litre of vodka to get you feeling 'mildly tipsy', you have some serious problems.

I think the worst parts of working festivals and gigs are the pissed up twats who think they're being sooo very clever by sneaking in spirits. They're an absolute liability, not just to themselves by faceplanting down the stairs, but to everybody else at the gig from their behaviour. I suppose they get a little bit overexcitable because it's a bit boring working for the Inland Revenue or Local Authority Finance Team, but when they go down, it's usually somebody else who needs the medical treatment.

Can only assume the festival was good-related or at least selling overpriced food.
I would have eaten my pork pie on the spot, no way I’m throwing that away.

I've had a security pat down twice this year at gigs at the O2 arena, they were doing everyone. Been to lots of gigs there before and never had that happen, so maybe venues are tightening up security.

Make sure its not got metal on it. I was at a stadium concert last night and they scanned every person with the metal detector

The breastmilk bag idea is genius and probably less itchy/irritating then my capri sun bags (just realised I said calypso before🙄) will try those next time!!

Avoid the foil OP, it gets picked up on the wand. Best thing is a pouch in a bra and mould it to your boobs.

For all the pearl clutchers out there I'm not an alcoholic but cant be arsed with overpaying or being stuck in a massive queue so my top tips are pouches in wellies or leg warmers although only really appropriate for festivals. Cheeky can in back of hotpants or just simply blagged my way in chatting shit to bouncer and didnt get searched at all....

The Spanish are far more relaxed about this.
Been to several concerts, last one being last year to see Sting.
Didn't feel the need to sneak drinks in because they were cheap as chips any way, bucket of larger €5. Double g'n't €5.
Watching the concert we were able to inhale loads of joints second hand from those around us.
To add, tickets were a fraction of what it would cost to see the acts in uk

Piece of piss to smuggle spirits into any gig.

You need the resealable lid versions of Capri Sun or similar. Fill with spirits. Place in bra like a chicken fillet, with the lid in the middle behind the underwire bit.

Even a full pat down type search won't find those. Buy bottles of soft drinks in the venue and add liberal volumes of spirit.

Caveat: I forgot I saw my favourite band at Download Festival doing this.... 😂😂😂

We were standing so maybe they had a different protocol.
My friends saw her in Edinburgh and their bags weren’t even searched as queues were so backed up at 730pm with a 745pm stage time because security run out of wristbands.
Guess it’s the chance you take, I’d chance it.

Amazed at the suggestions of hiding stuff in bras but unfortunately it wouldn't work for me as I'm only a B cup 🤣

What I do in those situations is we drink at home, then fill a plastic bottle with G&T and drink some more on the tube (we're in London). When there we only buy soft drinks or one more alcoholic drink in case we really fancy one.

But no one has judged smoking your own homegrown weed? Apart from the annoying smell. You were comparing an illegal activity with a slightly classless one.

And come on, it's not wasting securities time. No extra pat down is required because someone has a capri sun in their bra 🙄

If you can hide it about your person then definitely, take it. The prices they charge in these places are extortionate.

just to warn you though, it’s not unusual to get a pat down. Best place in my experience is where some trousers with wide bottoms, then tape it around your leg just below the knee, they never pat that far down.

i’m something of an expert at taking things I shouldn’t into concerts and festivals.
