Hi there, @Maves - we've withdrawn the photos in your opening post to reduce the risk of you being identified off the thread. We hope that helps but give us a nudge if we can help further. Thanks. Smile

The ks are different. One is forward slanting with the 'c' separate from the line. The other is completely upright, with the 'c' connected to the line. One has the 'c' lifted from the baseline, and the other has the 'c' tucked down on the baseline.

Lougle · 08/06/2023 14:05

The as are completely different, too. One has an a with the stick angling away from the circle. The other the other has it tucked in. The one that you would expect to have been more hastily written (the slanted one) is the one with the most tucked in a.

Can you tell us what your involvement is now pleeeease OP?

DrFoxtrot · 08/06/2023 15:00

If you're not on holiday, are you the person writing an entry in your own visitor book and trying to make the writing look different? Grin

Crabacus · 08/06/2023 15:37

In the close-ups you posted to look at the k, look at the u's. They are completely different, one is just straight down and up, the other has a tail.

Ok I work there and think they are making tho gs up so I have to go and do extra things and so they can check up with no reason there's more to it all they are pretty strange!! I do think they wrote the review they over use exclaimation marks themselves I think that's a big giveaway and obviously I've seen the books in real life and a lot of similarities and also no one writes reviews in so much stupid detail on the day they arrive! They hadn't even had thier "stay"

I guess it is a very detailed thing to write in a guest book.. surely you just say, lovely stay thanks for having us.

It sounds more like what you’d write on a trip advisor review.

You might be on to something OP…
