Buying on vinted

Keep wasting money. Buy something that is sold as very good condition and on receipt item is bobbled/ very well used/ faded. Also looks nothing like the picture. Going through a financially hard time and needed loads of new clothes so thought would be a good idea but wasted so much about half of items only fit for bin or charity shop. Plus by the time you add on all other fees not that cheap. AIBU to give up on vinted for good? Or have others had more luck on there.

I think Vinted is fine as long as you keep in mind it is not very good at rectifying problems and as a buyer you may end up out of pocket even if the seller described something inaccurately. I bought something sold as a particular brand. When it arrived it clearly was not that brand (toys) but the seller denied this and my only option was to keep (to use or resell) or return and pay the cost of return postage. It was relatively inexpensive and we could still use them so we kept the item but it did not sit well with me that the buyer got away with misselling the item.

I will buy on Vinted but only inexpensive items because I do not trust that I would get my money back if something were not quite right.
