No, not all men end up in that predicament, no.
But such an enormous amount of men who wield power, be it through politics, music, film whatever, it's not really appropriate to be defensive and say not all men.
Either society is patriarchal and rewards and excuses that type of man/behaviour, or that type of man is attracted to power.
Either way, it's worth discussing and not shut down with not all men.
I mean, my husband would fall into the 'not all men' category, but he's not a power seeker so men like him aren't represented at higher levels. It's worth exploring why that is. He's also not such a delicate soul that he can't understand that we have a big 'men' problem in general without getting defensive.
Men need to start having these conversations, as women get shouted down with not all men.
