How is this even allowed (no toilets)

A charity have a sporting session every week in a park but there are no toilets?
How's that even allowed ?
Anyone else think it's awful?
I've heard people say go behind a Bush, that's not nice or practical.

Shouldn't have too anyway, they should find a venue, where they have toilets and changing facilities?
Would you attend?

What's the sporting event? How long are the sessions? Is it for children or adults? Is it essential you attend? Are they charging for the sessions?
I'm sure the key word here is 'charity'.

CoreyTaylorsSoggyTshirt · 25/05/2023 22:24

They should find a venue they have to pay for so people can have access to toilets? 🙄

HeddaGarbled · 25/05/2023 22:24

Yes, there’ll be some nearby.

TrashyPanda · 25/05/2023 22:26

You could have a pee before you go surely?

BallandBoe · 25/05/2023 22:26

If you don't like it, I suggest you find a session that isn't run by a charity who are trying to raise funds whilst utilising a free venue.

Elvis1956 · 25/05/2023 22:26

It's a charity....s you want they spend money to rent loos...and you expect a loo company to deliver and pick up on a Sunday...what are you six, go beforehand

AnOKYearForTheRoses · 25/05/2023 22:27

How long are the sessions?

lpwat · 25/05/2023 22:27

I'm guessing no one is forcing you to attend?

milkysmum · 25/05/2023 22:28

What kind of event? For how long? Not every event has toilet facilities

cestlavielife · 25/05/2023 22:28

Campaign to your local council to install publc toilets in the park
What do the locals who use the park every day do ?

DailyMailHater · 25/05/2023 22:29

My son plays grass roots football and quiet often the pitch is the middle of a girls somewhere with no toilets

coffeecupsandwaxmelts · 25/05/2023 22:30

What's awful about it?

Loads of events don't have toilets.

Lastqueenofscotland2 · 25/05/2023 22:31

How long are the sessions, all day I can see the issue, 1-2 hours… just go before you leave!

I'm confused.

Who mentioned renting loos and Sundays.

Nomorecoconutboosts · 25/05/2023 22:34

There cannot be toilets absolutely everywhere for people to always have immediate access to. Which is unfortunate for people who have continence issues, medical problems or toilet anxiety.

For most of us, it is a case of planning ahead a little so we can enjoy social events for a few hours without fretting about toilets. For example I would have one coffee instead of 2 and use the toilet before setting off. And I chose not to sip on water all day (I am well hydrated I just cba to be carrying bottles of water all day)

highlandspooce · 25/05/2023 22:34

All of the context is missing Hmm

MichelleScarn · 25/05/2023 22:36

Are people being rounded up and made to attend this activity?!

dottiedodah · 25/05/2023 22:37

Cestlavielife our parks have toilets but are closed! No choice but to pee behind a bush when dog walking

BrassicaBabe · 25/05/2023 22:38

Parkrun?

Spiderboy · 25/05/2023 22:38

Wee before you go. Or don’t go. Most parks don’t have toilets.

is the event mandatory 😵‍💫

winewolfhowls · 25/05/2023 22:39

If there are plenty bushy bushes without nettles I wouldn't mind. If it's an exercise thing people are more relaxed about outdoor peeing. If it's a car boot then no!

Presumably use the ones near the park because if you’re in a town or city, and sometimes even if you’re in a village, there will be some.

Theimpossiblegirl · 25/05/2023 22:43

I go to park yoga every week and there are no toilets. It's a charity run activity. It hadn't even crossed my mind to find a problem with this.

FurAndFeathers · 25/05/2023 22:49

I go to an outdoor fitness session - no toilets in the park. I also climb outdoors - no toilets again.

yes it’s perfectly normal for outdoor sporting/fitness events not to have toilets

You pay, its a sport for adults, it shouldn't make any difference adults or children, we all need to go to the toilet.
