Ex partner refusing to return house keys

Ex partner no longer lives with me, the house is mine soley.

however he is now ignoring all requests I have made for the return of my house keys

is there anything I can do (except the obvious of change the locks)

Change your locks anyway. Even if he does return the keys, it takes 10 minutes and about a tenner to make a couple of copies for himself.

You don't need a locksmith. I'm useless as DIY or anything practical, yet I changed a lock barrel in five minutes. And the barrel and keys cost less than £10. It's a stupidly easy job.

It's a coercive control move.

Change the lock.

Describe and log it.

Report to the police.

Get a reference number.
