It's similar but I can't find the original, mine is from zara, just purchased on vinted for a bargain, slightly shorter sleeves.
Would I get away with this for a wedding do you think?

No I don’t think so. Is it sparkly?

Sissynova · 15/05/2023 20:37

No. Particularly with short sleeves, short dress, booby and full sequins. It’s all a bit clubby rather than a wedding.

HowcanIhelp123 · 15/05/2023 20:38

Personally I wouldn't wear something that sparkly. How pale is it? If its light gold and sparkly it could end up looking a bit light in photos!

BakerLea · 15/05/2023 20:38

Yes it's sparkly

Nope

toastofthetown · 15/05/2023 20:39

If you're having to ask if you can "get away" with a dress for a wedding, the answer is almost always going to be no.

Yes it's sparkly

Then not unless it's an evening only invite. Fine for evening, not ceremony.

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 15/05/2023 20:40

If you're just going to the evening bit after dinner then yes but if you're going to the service and sit down meal then it's a bit too much of a night out dress.

dudsville · 15/05/2023 20:42

The dress is cute, it suits an evening do, like a NYE party, so the evening do of a wedding is perfect.

DianaBlythe · 15/05/2023 20:42

Winter/Christmas evening only invite - maybe. Otherwise no.

Swishhh · 15/05/2023 20:43

I’d save it for an Xmas do, it would be perfect for then.

BakerLea · 15/05/2023 20:43

It's not my typical wedding outfit choice which is why I said 'get away with', yes it's maybe better for a Christmas night out!! I just thought with sandals it may work for a late summer wedding-(full day)

ChufftyBadge · 15/05/2023 20:49

Is it your wedding? Grin

Swishhh · 15/05/2023 20:50

No I don’t think it would work.

SophieJo · 15/05/2023 20:51

No I don’t think you can.

justmyluck1234 · 15/05/2023 20:52

Personally not something I would wear to a wedding, I don't think it looks 'formal' enough.

Bluevelvetsofa · 15/05/2023 20:54

No. It’s not suitable for anything other than a club.

Not even a Christmas do?

Doggymummar · 15/05/2023 20:55

No it for clubbing

Thought the same!

OP posts:
DoingBugStuff · 15/05/2023 21:00

Nah. Fine for a Christmas party, not a wedding

BodyKeepingScore · 15/05/2023 21:08

I wouldn't personally, looks like something to wear clubbing or on a night out.

bunnybunnybunnybunny · 15/05/2023 21:10

Where is the wedding? Las Vegas? If not, absolutely not.

TeeBee · 15/05/2023 21:15

Good lord, no!
