It's similar but I can't find the original, mine is from zara, just purchased on vinted for a bargain, slightly shorter sleeves.
Would I get away with this for a wedding do you think?

Is that meant as a joke cos if not it's pretty rude. Not asking whether you like my dress or not....... Just if its acceptable to a wedding. We all have different tastes

Meh some people are so uptight….
if you love it wear it, I wouldn’t give two hoots about what you wore to my wedding as long as you were comfortable x

BIinki · 15/05/2023 22:40

MN is really weird about stuff like this. There's nothing wrong with it for a wedding.

ohdearmynamechangedagain · 15/05/2023 22:45

For a wedding: Too sparkly* & too short.

*Unless it's a Christmas wedding, but I'd still check with the bride

PartingGift · 15/05/2023 22:52

I'd say no.

Though I think that photo doesn't do the dress or the model any favours. I think you would have been better off posting a photo of you wearing the actual dress, rather than a screenshot from boohoo. The quality is likely to be nicer from zara than boohoo for a start.

RudsyFarmer · 15/05/2023 22:53

I’d need to see it on you.

GiveOverRover · 15/05/2023 22:57

Sequins are hot to wear, best avoided during the day in summer if only for that reason!

If it was a "festival" wedding then yes, otherwise not really weddingy

MrsToothyBitch · 15/05/2023 22:58

Not for a wedding- save it for a party.

CC4712 · 15/05/2023 23:01

Have I missed it somewhere- are you the bride or a guest???

As a bride- if you love it- wear it!
As a guest- No. Going by the pic and that model only- far too short and glitzy as a guest.

CantFindTheBeat · 15/05/2023 23:02

It really depends on the wedding, OP.

It's a fun, cute dress. If you accessorised it well, it could definitely work for weddings with a young, vibrant feel. Who really cares anyway!!!!'

I also love a bargain, so if you got it on Vinted for a good price, that's a lot better than spending £££££ on a dress you don't really like.

tolerable · 15/05/2023 23:09

Equalitea · 15/05/2023 23:09

If you're having to ask if you can "get away" with a dress for a wedding, the answer is almost always going to be no.

This
