To ask if anyone else has ovulation hell?

My ovulation time is almost worse than the actual menstruation time. I have 2-3 days of hot and cold sweats in the night, plus a squeezing pain in my ovaries. And then emotionally I'm all over the place - a mixture of extreme highs and lows. And then a few days later I'm back to normal.

Does anyone else suffer this and is there any remedy? I don't want hormonal contraception as that brings other effects for me.

Yes it’s awful. I always suffered from pain in my side but now it’s worse and I feel like shit. Really bad skin and hot cheeks. Not like hot flush or anything, just my cheeks on fire. Can’t sleep either. It’s worse than pmt or even period time itself. I’m 45 btw
