So says Rylan Clark

He claims some people in the industry aren’t nice and polite, like they portray themselves to be and behind the scenes they treat people badly…that people are starting to see through it now and all will be revealed…

Eamonn didn’t hold back on GB News this morning! From BBC:

Loving Eamonn this morning! You can tell Ruth will obviously agree with him yet she’s still on loose women and was doing links from this morning with Phil on it just last week! 🙈 it’s probably everything she isn’t allowed to say that he’s saying too

CityCommuter · 22/05/2023 20:33

@CaveMum Eamonn Holme has always come across as a nice genuine guy who speaks the truth. I believe he wasn't exaggerating this morning on GB News when he said his phone is full of people who'd like to see the back of Phil and also Holly. They're as bad as each other it seems... it's well known she wanted him out for some time now but yet she had the cheek to say the sofa won't be the sane without him as if she was going to miss him! ITV insiders say she's 2 faced, not well liked when the cameras are switched off and needs to go...

Bring back the lovely Eamonn and Ruth please! I work full time but sometimes watch the show on catch up in the evenings as it reminds me of having a day off school when I was a kid!

Biggestpizzaiveeverseenjesus · 22/05/2023 20:35

It would be so amazing with Eamonn and Ruth back on

You need a hobby...or professional help. 😉 😂

CityCommuter · 22/05/2023 20:52

@PollyPeptide you do know the meaning of 'sometimes' don't you? It means 'occasionally' / 'once in a blue moon!'😂

PollyPeptide · 22/05/2023 22:02

@CityCommuter Oh come on, you know you record it every day and skip home to watch it on a loop. Hehe.

I know what you mean, though. Programmes from our childhood do have a comforting nostalgia about them. So enjoy, my screwed up little friend. Enjoy. 🥂 ❤

CityCommuter · 22/05/2023 22:34

@PollyPeptide wow you're actually quite nasty... maybe you should deal with what's really bothering you instead of deflecting!

Oh no. No, no, no. I'm so sorry. I wasn't meaning to be nasty at all. I was just joking. I thought when you put the laughing emoji on your post you were laughing with me. I know you don't have it on a loop or you watch it all the time. I put the wine and heart on my post to be friendly. I'm so sorry to have upset you. I really am.

WildFlowerBees · 22/05/2023 23:37

I didn't read your post as nasty @PollyPeptide just friendly banter.

PollyPeptide · 23/05/2023 00:24

Thank you, @WildFlowerBees . That's kind of you to take the time to write that. I appreciate it.
I really did think we were just joking. But I don't blame CityCommuter because it's hard to convey and judge tone on here - which is why I added the emojis.
Never mind. My fault and lesson learned. I'm just sorry I upset them.

My friends husband works on tv studios and he gives us the lowdown on everyone 🤣
He said Holly is pleasant enough, polite but not friendly. Schofield is a massive bellend- bad tempered and rude. Davina McCall is apparently lovely. Gok wan he said was one of the rudest people he has met and Olly Murs is extremely arrogant and has a god complex

If PS is such a bellend (which I can quite believe) then how comes HW was such good pals with him?

I'm hazarding a guess at the fact that she was 19 (?) when she became friends with him and working with him. She's had 3 kids since presenting with him, has become a woman and quite a savvy one at that.

There's a reason he didn't get on with Fern, Ruth, Amanda... He wanted a puppet.

Should have stuck with Gordon.

WildFlowerBees · 23/05/2023 04:30

Interesting that's there isn't a public outpouring of love from others for PS, except for Rochelle Hulmes. Speaks volumes.

Just noticed this.. if it does come out (which I’m sure it will) about what’s been going on behind the scenes surely you would massively regret showing public support like that 😬

OnlyFins · 23/05/2023 07:33

In a way, as her mentor PS should be proud of the way HW has turned on him. It’s ruthless and probably what he would have done.

Rochelle's talent rep is phillip schofields daughter so she was maybe nudged along to support him.

Wombastic · 23/05/2023 07:56

From EH’s pov it must have been very hurtful to be thrown out and discarded, to only hear the narrative of the other side. He must have felt powerless and alone. He had to claw his way back. So I am not surprised at all that he is enjoying his own pov being listened for once.

Shows how long ago I watched daytime tv but wasn’t he very mean to his first wife? Or is that someone else?

She would have been 25/6 when she started on dancing on Ice, Phil probably loved having a young BFF would have made him feel younger and fun!

I don't really care. Both as bad as each other.

Onefootinthegroove · 23/05/2023 09:19

I think the MM story will break soon, the Mail is dropping massive hints.
IMO the real scandal is that PS groomed this young man in full view and ITV / TM did nothing.
Full respect to Eamonn, Ruth and Rylan for refusing to be complicit.

LadyEloise1 · 23/05/2023 09:35

@Wombastic re his first wife - I thought that also but don't know when that ended and the RL one began. Did they overlap ? For all i know it could have been amicable.
