For wondering who gives a shit that James Corden hosted his last show last night?

I am absolutely baffled at the coverage this is getting. It's bizarre.

Admittedly, I cannot stand the unfunny prick, but I am utterly baffled.

Primetime BBC news, clips being played on the radio, mentioned in every hourly new bulletin, masses of coverage on the internet.

Man leaves job - big fucking wow!!!!!!!!!

Not as much as my dads did though. He had a little book of all the celebrities he hated, he started it in 1950 when he was 14. He would add people and then tick them off when they died.

He’s got dementia now and can’t tell you which was is up, but I have taken it over. He’s really racking them up now, I’ve had to tick off a hell of a lot of names over the last few years on his behalf.

Now that is living with your soul marinated in spite.

(James Corden is on my dads list, he was one of the last people he added before he became ill).

That has made my day. His bitterness against celebrities will live on through others. He’d like that. I will tell him when I see him, even though he won’t understand what I am saying.

Can't wait for all the stories to come out of the US the minute he's on the plane over here. There's been so many stories/rumours/blind gossip about him and his ugly behaviour regarding demanding more money for the show and his treatment of the people he worked with on it. The funniest rumour came out a year ago saying he was being let go from the show but he would be telling everyone he chose to leave because he wanted to come back to the UK and spend more time with his family. Lo and behold...😆

He strikes me as a really nasty person behind the scenes. There have been so many blinds over the years that were obviously him, and his wife always looks like her smile never reaches her eyes.

I hope to God he doesn't get a UK chat show when he's back. I'd rather the US kept him there, and Adele too for good measure.

Can’t stand him. I don’t think he’s talented or funny and from the sounds of it he’s not even a nice person…

What the Americans see in him is beyond me, but they can keep him 🤷🏼‍♀️

I genuinely don’t understand the levels of hate towards someone that the majority of posters on here presumably haven’t even met.

If I don’t like someone famous, I avoid watching them and if I see a thread about them I generally don’t waste my time reading it. I seriously don’t understand how so many people think it’s ok to be so vitriolic towards someone but claim it’s ok because he’s apparently ‘obnoxious’ or ‘arrogant’. Does this make you any better? Does your view of him mean he’s somehow deserving of this? It would be interesting to see how many of you have #bekind .

The fact remains that he has hosted a very popular and famous tv show for 8 years now, as well as acting in and co-writing some very popular acclaimed tv shows. He’s done really well for himself. People obviously like him a lot otherwise he wouldn’t have achieved what he has. Honestly some of the responses on here and attempts at justifying plain meanness are embarrassing.

I read loads of autobiography memoirs which by their nature are written by the person or their friend and usually make them look good. His was self indulgent crap. The only saving grace is that he didn't slag of his first wife in it. For those that have read it. Trigger moment 'you might have heard of it' talking about G and S. If you have read it, you will know what I'm saying.
