She's one of these people who wafts around celebrity versions of this/that/the other with nothing to qualify her as a celebrity other than a stint in Coronation Street that, apart from an odd appearance or two since then, she left over a decade ago. She's had absolutely no acting jobs since.

I'd no clue she was on that show or even that it was on the TV. That explains people mentioning Amir Khan and Janice Dickinson then.

True. I don't watch the show. I've not watched any TV for ages other than things I'd recorded so no. I had seen a lot of daily posts about Helen in the online daily Mail though, about Tiktok and boob jobs. I didn't think advertising boob jobs was an indicator of someone being a celebrity. But as people say that's her job, being an "influencer" (influencing people to have boob jobs?). And, hey, Katie Price, Kerry Katona, Danielle Lloyd, Dani Dyer are"celebs" with no talent whatsoever.

I agree it's a bit of a meh post. Not sure jealousy has anything to do with it though

I posted a thread using Helen as an example of someone who appears to no longer be an actress getting work on celebrity shows and querying why that was. I could have used Max George as an example or many others, men or women. Sneering as you call it is at the principle not the person. It seems that being on the 'celebrity' shows merry go round makes someone a celebrity. Chantelle Houghton was a good example of that. Anyone would question what qualifies someone to get work as a kitchen fitter, heart surgeon or plumber before investing in them. Or is it different if you're a celebrity?

Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney aren't celebrities either.

She gets these jobs because she was for decades?i think? On coronation street. She probably picks up random short jobs so she dosent have to committ for a long tine away from her kids but still keep an income.

@Bloopsie Yes I thought about that, easy to fit the one off celebrity jobs in as there's little commitment required as against say committing to a stage run or a several episode TV drama.

@ily0xx I'm "pretending" nothing. Just coincidence as I saw him last week on a show about the upcoming coronation which I guess proves the point about some people being ubiquitous on these types of shows. Hey, I guess that scuppers the accusations of misogyny though if nothing else.

FYI I've watched zero TV in weeks and I wouldn't watch this anyway.

As the last two weeks have been taken up with a sick animal who I'm now having PTS, this morning I won't be discussing this further.
