Wrong time for emergency alert

15:20 for me and was very quiet. Would have missed it if I wasn’t listening out for it

DP’s went off at 3 on the dot. His work one was switched off but he switched it on just after I got mine and alarm went off straight away. Either a coincidence or it does come on as soon as the phone connects to a network which is worrying for those who deliberately switched it off for safety reasons

I got one but wasn't expecting one. I changed from contract to pay as you go a few months ago. Often when I have tried to change my number it comes up as being not recognised for some reason. So I have to change to my landline instead.

I got one on all devices at 15:01 and then a second one on just my watch at 15:15. That was weird.

Both mine and hubbys phone went off at the same time (iPhones) exactly 14:59.
he’s with utility warehouse & I’m with sky mobile.

weird to see how many hasn’t gone off🤷‍♀️

Mine went off at 3, dh’s at 3.07. Both iPhones and sat next to each other.

DD’s phone sounded, she doesn’t even have a SIM card in it (uses it like a portable iPad) and we weren’t expecting it on hers.

I've read that the 3 network has had issues with sending the alert (plus any companies that run on the 3 network)

to get an alert you need a 4g or 5g signal if you have 3g or less you more than likely wont receive it

1 went off just before 3

partners not at all - no idea why not

mine went off 3 times between 3 & 3.15 ish

all iPhones but all different networks. We live in a low signal area too

We were in the pub! It was interesting to hear the differing times people's phones went off. One was as late as about 15.07.

I am 3G and never got a thing. DS13 had his go off and was quite excited about it (he was told beforehand).

Then it triggered a pub-wide discussion about what it might be used for - nukes or tsumanis.

It was kind of fun. (Boring life alert!)

Mine was a minute early and dhs was 3 mins late! If it was the real thing, he would have less time before whatever it was about to happen happened. I might let him know if that was the case, only if he's been good that day 😉
