To be a bit excited about the 3pm alarm?

I'm interested to hear what it sounds like. For it to be going off all over the country at once, in all households and shops is exciting.

It's something completely new and feels kinda like something from Black mirror.

Maybe I'm just weird 😂

Only 1 out of 3 (mine) went off here, my alert was at 3 minutes past 3

Dh & I are different mobile networks mine went off at 2:59 and his 3:01.

I got a sound a minute early but no message. Was there meant to be a text or voice instruction with it?

As predicted earlier between the noise of the rain hammering on the roof of the warehouse housing the soft play plus the screaming of the kids here I barely heard it.

I turned mine off in the settings so didn't get it, but the tablets all went off which I wasn't expecting. DS was quite alarmed!

They said on the radio the other day that alerts would be sent for 30 minutes. So if your phone was off and you then turn it on, you will still get it.

3 went off here, but not all at the same time.

just in case this isn't tongue in cheek: you do know that several other countries have done this several times?

TBH when we had our last one, i'd told a colleague 10 minutes before (he hadn't heard it would happen) but still jumped out of my skin when the phone started.

I had 2 phones: Android (private) and iPhone (work). The iPhone went off a good minute before the Android.

Apparently I don’t need to be told if there’s an emergency. It didn’t go off! 2/4 iPhones in our house

I slid it up the screen to shut it up so didnt get chance to read it. What did it say?

It said that next time the alarm goes other people will be busy taking action and not able to read messages for you 🤣

It went off on my tablet and DH phone at 14.59 but went off on my phone at 15.01

4 phones and all ours went off. Slightly different times though.
