Posting for traffic, sorry.

DH was taking beloved dog for early hours walk. Dog has somehow managed to escape chasing something down the road (I know limited details as DH has been running around). Happened only a street back from us. We live in a suburban area.

DH has been looking and shouting for him for about 2 hours. Have called dog warden to report etc.

I have a 4MO DS. What would be the earliest you would wrap baby up warm and pop in a pram to help look?

Sky is starting to get lighter in south east. Desperate to go help look for him as I'm so worried 😞

I’m so glad you got your dog back - please don’t walk him in a slip lead though they’re not suitable for use as a main lead. Use his harness if you have one.

I will definitely get a gift for the people who helped him.

I'll grab one and a card tomorrow. I think today we will all just be recuperating 😴

Good news! We've been in your situation many times (six dogs in a very rural area) so we now have Tractive GPS collars on the three main escapees - it alerts us if they go outside the safe zone and allows us to find them quickly. Well worth it for peace of mind.
