Someone's taken credit for anonymous treat!

Quick silly one but not sure what to do.

Friend has had a hard time so I've sent them a cream tea type surprise treat. Left the card anonymous but she finds it difficult to receive without reciprocating and I wanted her to have something just for her with no strings, to cheer her up.

She posts it on social media, another Friend (I don't know) comments, saying enjoy, glad you like, you deserve it type thing

My friend says ahhhh was it you, youre amazing

Other friend says wink wink it's anonymous so I guess you'll never know

Now, to me there alluding it was then. Taking all the bloody credit. I know I didn't send it for credit or even thanks but I'm a little pissed off!

No idea? Someone tagged them in the comments and they replied. It's the local cafe and we all follow them

Id finish it all by commenting that youre annoyed because when you ordered it, ut said it included tea. Cf isnt going to back down, even if you bring her a diamond ring as a thank you, she has a brass neck - drop her in it, publically!

This is perfect, and ties up all the loose ends!
Everyone will know it is you… the cafe have a chance to rectify and CF gets shown up without you having to say a word!

At this stage I'd just go with a public comment "thanks local cafe, will be sure to leave a review of your excellent service. Glad you liked it friend, just something small to thank you for being you! Enjoy!" everyone will be confused as hell 😂
