To ask what are you doing right now

Except being on mumsnet what are you doing on a Friday night. Is the rest of the world really out while I sit on the couch watching the people I live with sleep on the couch

On the sofa following dinner with a glass of red whilst DH rubs my feet. Arsenal are on the telly and I’m not going to be late to bed that’s for sure!

Lying on the couch with one dog as a pillow and the other keeping my feet warm. Kids gone to their dads for the weekend so me and the dogs are planning our weekend run-ventures 😃

DH got back from work late at 8pm, we ate, now researching DIY bits to pick up tomorrow, DH working again tomorrow so our weekend will start tomorrow at 5pm!

Watching Arsenal and hoping they do better. Much better. Glass of red and Easter egg to hand. I was ‘out out’ last Friday…much prefer this (though Arsenal better win 😡).

Just came downstairs after getting DD2 off to sleep, DP is still up there with DD1 who is absolutely old enough to go to sleep herself but still insists on one of us being there until she falls asleep which can take up to an hour or more. I've poured a beer and put the snooker on, will probably go up to bed myself shortly as I seem to have caught the virus (not Covid, we did test) that the DCs have had over the past week or two and I'm feeling quite wiped out.

Watching an old Ricky Gervais film called Ghost Town with ds2. Dh was here (mostly asleep) until 5 minutes ago. He's just gone to pick ds1 up from work.
Not very thrilling, but the film is quite good.

In bed with a cup of tea after my best friends husbands funeral today. Ordinarily I'd still be there raising a toast but I've had pancreatitis this week so came home, had a bath, done my skincare and got into bed with a brew. Feeling smug thay I won't have a hangover tomorrow! It was a very beautiful but sad day so home is like a big hug tonight ❤️

I've eaten a pizza and chips (shop bought) and was going to watch a movie but can't decide what to watch so am mindlessly on the net.

In my defense I am sleep deprived. Only things I've decided so far is that my tea has gone cold so I'm getting another and need to go upstairs to the loo. A friend phoned earlier and I said I had something to tell him but couldn't remember what, so I'm getting like my mother.

But I want to stay up a while longer as I'm really pleased about a project.
