Except being on mumsnet what are you doing on a Friday night. Is the rest of the world really out while I sit on the couch watching the people I live with sleep on the couch

Just got out of the shower,pjs on and now sat at my desktop just pottering online,no tv or radio on - such peace! Will make a mug of tea soon and get an early night as working tomorrow and I don't have my usual colleague on with me.

Watching QVC fashion and eating crisps. Haven't been tempted to buy so far. I got in from work 6.30.Dropped partner off for a night out. 12 yearold has his headset on and not interested in interacting other than asking for food. I particularly like the jewellery channels, listening to them go wild over frankly hideous jewellery is suprisingly entertaining.

Just sitting looking at the screens here - tv and laptop. I was put on medication for anxiety today and I just want to sleep till they kick in but that is not something I can do. My partner and the kids will be back home tomorrow after a few days away so just me and the dogs. Im not able to eat, the wine is just not going down at all here and I have zero want to do anything. I might bite the bullet and start a new book in bed.

Feeling meh. On soft light food until at least Sunday following a tooth extraction on Wednesday, would love a glass of wine but not risking it just yet.Trying to pack for coming holiday. Half packed suitcase is sitting looking at me, can't be bothered to do any more tonight. Wish I had someone to do it for me. Will finish off tomorrow.DH is downstairs on sofa with dog watching a film. I am upstairs in bedroom with cats.

I have so much respect for shopping channel presenters and their ability to talk about a frying pan, face cream, craft set etc, with such conviction.
