Except being on mumsnet what are you doing on a Friday night. Is the rest of the world really out while I sit on the couch watching the people I live with sleep on the couch

Watching netflix just had a kebab that I've wanted for weeks and bloody child took half of it even tho I asked her before I ordered and she said no so I'm annoyed now😆

Drinking white wine after a long week at work and waiting for pizza delivery (on it's way according to just eat) chilling on here, will follow the wine up with a G&T or two then will flop into bed around midnight and sleep with no alarm set for the morning. Love Friday nights! DH and adult DS here too- we are all beat after a week at work and don't normally go out on Fridays.

We're aout to put the children to bed (2 and 6)... At last... Then I have to whack everything in the bread maker for tomorrow's loaf, hang the washing, then ME time (If I'm still awake) 😴

So my other half is in the pub chatting to our friends. I am supposed to be getting ready to meet them. But I’ve been really tired and cannot be bothered to put make up on and get ready. Does anyone have this pre social block where I just can’t get myself to move but once u are there you are having the best of time. Am I starting to get social anxiety ? Is this what it is ?

Running a bath while drinking wine and MN'ing. I am celebrating a rare child-free night, I haven't slept for more than 5 hours in weeks and I am looking forward to not being woken in the wee small hours by a toddler who thinks it's party time.

Watching coronation street, cat sleeping on my lap, just had a cup of tea and half an Easter egg. Will watch a bit of gogglebox then go to bed and read for about 5 mins before falling to sleep. Bliss! 😃

Eating sushi and watching Downton abbey. I don't know why it didn't take my fancy when it came out. Me & Mr pint are hooked. Nasty surprise at the end of season 3 tho, there was no need for that 😭

Sat in DD7's bedroom whilst she tries to go to sleep. She is dealing with some horrible anxiety at the moment and evenings have become somewhat drawn out.

Watching Farmer wants a Wife with a glass of wine, whilst trying to negotiate booking flights to Oz in bloody December. DP hasn't been 'ome in over 10 years, but he wants to go at the busiest most expensive time of the year.... for 4 weeks. He can fight with the school about that.

Watching a film on TV on sofa with DH and one of the cats. Wine is coming out at 9pm.

How old are the children?

DH is out. DS has gone to bed.

I'm already in bed with Netflix and snacks. It's been a long week at work and I'm looking forward to relaxing and recharging on my own for a couple of hours.
