to think that correcting someone's spelling/grammar etc on a thread is actually quite petty and pathetic?

I make lots of spelling/grammar mistakes because I type quickly and don't check it- why should I?
I have only been corrected once and it seemed very petty to me

policywonk · 15/02/2008 20:25

I've only ever corrected someone else's spelling once, and it was definitely passive aggressive (or just plain aggressive), because the poster was annoying me.

It is a rude thing to do.

I don't see the problem. I'd want to be told if I were making mistakes.
