Why is it so hard for sellers on Vinted to list their clothing correctly?!

I ordered a Nike top in large as I have items in that size from Nike that fit me. So I order a Nike top in large, it's come and it's a medium!

I've contacted the seller to say it's been listed incorrectly and their response is "I'm a large and it fits me. I’ve always bought large and had to exchange it for a medium'

Just because it fits you doesn't mean it'll fit me! If the label says medium why then say it's large on a selling site?!

I want to love Vinted, but it seems hard. Agree with posters who've said about items not being ironed, so they look like rags (or indeed just being rags!). Sizing is deranged. Have had various sales cancelled because seller has obviously lost interest.

My pet peeve (pun intended) is the amount of cat/dog hair on things.
I'm not expecting brand new and a couple of hairs here and there is understandable. Some people even mention the possibility of hair in the descriptions.
Twice this week I've received items that were so hairy I had to put them straight in the wash before checking them, they just made me feel dirty looking at them and touching them. And I have a cat! Surely they wouldn't wear it like that, so they shouldn't sell it like that.

I did buy some hair extensions off ebay a few years ago which had a big toe nail clipping mixed in with them 🤮 I didn't even tell the seller because I knew it would sound made up but it was disgusting and is so far my worst freebie.

I'd love to know this too! I've sent feedback numerous times but nothings changed!

@colourmebladd no, the standard Vinted policy is buyer pays for return and if you want to do something different you have to get the seller to agree to it. I suppose I could have tried to sell them myself and got the money back that way but tbh I was just so annoyed I wanted them gone.

I’ve had some great buys but I’ve been stung a few times recently with ‘new without tags’ items - clearly they’ve had some wear and one had a biro stain on the front. I’m also amazed sometimes at the description ‘very good’ when it’s borderline unwearable.
