M&S does:

IABU: It is fine
IAMBU: Women do not want to be used to facilitate men's fetishes, they should delete sexualised reviews

Just looked - the review is still on the M&S website. It can be reported - if enough Mumsnet gets do I guess M&S might take note.

StoneofDestiny · 13/04/2023 22:58

Aye - that's it

SpudsandGravy · 13/04/2023 23:00

Weird. I followed the link (from north of England) and that review isn't there. There's only one review.

SpudsandGravy · 13/04/2023 23:02

ISTM that M&S are terrified of falling foul of the transgender lobby, which is why we (women) no longer have changing rooms of our own there.

Ohmygosh83 · 13/04/2023 23:03

Folk have too much time on their hands concerning themselves about a reveiw from a bloke on knickers 🙄

BlackBarbies · 13/04/2023 23:04

I just clicked on the link and it’s since been deleted!

I agree that it’s not a UK website though, just look at the currency

The problem for me is being drawn into a man's fetish against my will. I do not consent to be subject to this. Do you understand that these men get off on imagining women being disgusted by their behaviour?

I appear to be looking at it in Sweden? With one normal review.

Looks like it’s been taken off the UK website too now.

LadyAstor · 13/04/2023 23:11

I dont get it. How do you know its a man? All it says is that they sized up for comfort and to avoid a knicker line and that they were pretty.

I have to say, i was expecting porn, judging by the outrage.

The comment has now been deleted. Maybe some screenshot it?

That’s a different review. The other one (now deleted) clearly said this male wearer finds, provide sufficient coverage while still maintaining an amazing wearing experience.

Nope, still there.

FatFucker · 13/04/2023 23:18

Nope I can only see one (normal) review. It must have been deleted.

StoneofDestiny · 13/04/2023 23:18

Its obvious it's a person claiming to be a man as they say they are a man

BonnieLisbon · 13/04/2023 23:19

Yes, it's been deleted now

StoneofDestiny · 13/04/2023 23:20

this male wearer being the phrase

Lockheart · 13/04/2023 23:16

Nope, still there.

I’m not seeing it now? On the web it was indicating that there were two reviews but only showed the one that wasn’t by the male. On the app, I’m only seeing the one review.

Same.

FatFucker · 13/04/2023 23:23

I have no idea why it is showing in Swedish krona?? But only one review!

Mulhollandmagoo · 13/04/2023 23:23

I can only see one review too, about sizing up so as not to leave a line under her dress, so maybe they have seen sense and deleted 🤞

TheOrigRights · 13/04/2023 23:24

My aunt told me about male reviews YEARS ago, it's not a recent thing.

ShowUs · 13/04/2023 23:24

Tempone · 13/04/2023 23:14

That's it

If this is the comment I wouldn’t lose sleep over it.
I thought it was going to be a review about someone’s wife wearing them or something.

It sounds pretentious and the person is an obvious attention seeking twat but it’s not offensive.

Men can wear women’s underwear just like women can wear mens.
I would just skip past any reviews left by men because I am a woman and that is of no relevance to me.

LadyAstor · 13/04/2023 23:28

Oh right. Just seen the screenshot of the review in question (now deleted).

That is grim.

Shocked at M&S's stance on this. Its blatant Autogynaphilia.

Would you have the same need to explain why, in a retailers online review, men’s underwear make you, as a women, feel sexy?
