To think diversity and inclusion in employment rarely includes age

Just that really. I've noticed that there's a lot more emphasis on diversity, which is great, but then for example even in the photos of staff they're all young. It doesn't feel to me as if diversity in workplaces has extended to age yet. AIBU?

Haven't RTFT but the issue comes when older people need to find work or change jobs. Of course plenty of older people work but most get to a point where they know it will be difficult to find something new. The main barrier within the workplace is how long you will be employing that person for. My workplace has employed retirees recently but with the latest round of recruitment I was concerned about people over a certain age as most of my department is due to retire in the next five years and I desperately need continuity. Recruitment is a pain in the arse and I suspect the main concern is how many years service you will get from someone. To be clear I'm taking people in their 60's not 50's though.
