Waters broke 14 weeks is there any hope?

I think my waters broke and I'm only 14 weeks along, i was stood in the kitchen and all of a sudden there was a load of bloody liquid like wee but I wasn't weeing. Maternity unit wouldn't see me because I was less than 18 weeks and EPU is shut so they told me to ring 111 who said go to A&E so now I'm sat in A&E.

There is no hope for the baby though right? :( I have had 3 miscarriages and when this one got to 12 weeks and everything looked OK I stupidly began to relax.

I lost some of my waters @14 weeks was put on bed rest until 18 weeks, then went into labour and was given steroids and cervical cerclage, my boys held on until 37 weeks.

I hope you get the outcome you want. Xx

I’ve been exactly where you are right now, only nearly 10y ago. I went into preterm labour with my son 4x during my pregnancy and they managed to stop it every time until I was 35 weeks gone (bang on 35 weeks. My son was born 5 weeks early and is physically healthy and happy! I’m sending you love, light and plenty of positive energy xxx

I have seen a midwife, she examined me and said my cervix looks OK, she can see some fluid but they can't tell properly what is going on till I have a scan and apparently I can't have a scan tonight so I've been sent home and someone will call me in the morning to get me back in for a scan tomorrow or Tuesday.

Not the worst news I guess but I just want a scan and to know what is going on :(

Oh dear, how awful after such a long wait that you haven't been able to have a scan tonight. Well I hope all the posts on here have shown you that there is hope and that you are able to get some sleep tonight and fingers crossed for a scan tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for you. Your mind will be racing 360 with all sorts of thoughts. Remember you can't control the outcome but you can hold on to hope. Take care.
