I'd buy a brand new Volvo 340 straight from the Volvo dealership

Train007

We so did. Lovely memories. Recently met up with 6 of the original group for an overnight. Still call ourselves girls and 16 grandchildren between us. We still felt 19 again. 😂😂

Cinnamongirlinthesand · 26/03/2023 16:36

Not exactly the same but I got pregnant at 16. Father buggered off never to be seen again. I went through social services, met foster parents the lot.
Once baby boy was born my parents went behind me back (in 74 I had no rights) and adopted him.Last thing I wanted was for him to be bought up with my toxic parents.
I wasn't the boy my dad wanted nor the dainty little dancer mother wanted .Childhood was hell, always being told I wasn't good enough and a disappointment to them.

Mummyoflittledragon · 26/03/2023 16:37

Give my dad a hug. 😢

ShagratandGorbag4ever · 26/03/2023 16:37

I'd have ditched excess weight while I was young rather than carrying it round for years.

GotABeatForYouMama · 26/03/2023 16:37

To continue to study for the job I wanted rather than study for the job my parents wanted me to have.

Go to Berlin and East Germany before the wall fell.

I actually did that in 1983!

Cinnamongirlinthesand · 26/03/2023 16:38

Meant for @Somebodiesmother

moveoverye · 26/03/2023 16:38

Actually no, the FIRST thing I’d do would be to go shopping! I’d get:

an amazing perm hairdo
fuck off earrings
The craziest woolly jumper and leggings combo
And a Laura Ashley dress.

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 26/03/2023 16:38

Don’t shag that skanky man.
Go to Belfast and Glastonbury on a total whim with my mates.
Actually do what my dissertation supervisor said.
Dont move into that horrible flat and almost get pneumonia and all my clothes ruined by damp.

fishonabicycle · 26/03/2023 16:39

Do better in my A levels.

Movinghouseatlast · 26/03/2023 16:40

Not start going out with my first boyfriend simply because he was interested in me.

Timeforachangeisitnot · 26/03/2023 16:41

Toottooot · 26/03/2023 16:18

Go to Gothenburg on the ferry.

Aw, me too 😁

slowquickstep · 26/03/2023 16:41

I would ignore the idiot that pinched my bum, it would have saved me 20 years of crap but then my life wouldn't be what it is now.

dollypartin · 26/03/2023 16:42

Be born I guess 😅

Agoodidea · 26/03/2023 16:42

I’d do it all again! A vintage year for me and I love my 2 flat mates even more now than I did then, the best 2 women in the world and we continue to be each others source if steadfast love and support, especially with everything we’ve had to deal with these past few years.

Ppbbww9 · 26/03/2023 16:44

Take myself off the planet. Save myself from 40 years of bloody misery.

dizzydizzydizzy · 26/03/2023 16:44

Look up the answers for English Lit O level.
It would have saved a lot of anxiety.

birdling · 26/03/2023 16:46

Get out my flower fairies and play ☺️

Zuffe · 26/03/2023 16:46

Put on Long Hot Summer as soon as it was released and bask in the glow of just how hot it was. That Summer. The smell of her neck, that bit behind her ears. Her bob, pushed back behind them. The smell of her, all over, into the early morning hours.

ImAnAlienAndImHere · 26/03/2023 16:46

Spend as much time as possible with my mum - she died later that year 💔

x2boys · 26/03/2023 16:47

I.was nine ,probably go.and see my long dead grandparents.

fiftiesmum · 26/03/2023 16:47

Tell primary school that dd was two days older than she actually was so could actually have a proper reception year at school (they weren't quite so fussy about proof of age or address then)

CockPits · 26/03/2023 16:49

Punch Emily in the face

Dinopawus · 26/03/2023 16:50

Change my orange leg warmers for a decent colour.

Not lend out my colour by numbers album.

Ask for more help and admit that actually things at home weren't that great.

Wishihadanalgorithm · 26/03/2023 16:51

Hug my mum and ask her about her life. She died a year later so I would make the most of my time with her.
