I'd buy a brand new Volvo 340 straight from the Volvo dealership

Properly talk to my parents. Ask all about their lives when they were young. I didn't expect them to die in 1984 and 1985.

BlackeyedSusan · 27/03/2023 18:43

Stop and talk to that nice lad well before we got to my front gate when mum popped out and called me in.

Theeaglesoared · 27/03/2023 18:45

Stay in my home town and do nursing, instead of moving to London to be with my very cool, but completely inappropriate rockstar boyfriend.

Barney60 · 27/03/2023 18:47

Remember the lottery numbers that won.

fuzzywuzzywombat · 27/03/2023 18:48

Go to university
Ditch the arsehole have a lot more freaking fun!

NowWhatUsernameShallIHave · 27/03/2023 18:50

Sneak the pill into my mums food to stop from my sister being born

MeanderingGently · 27/03/2023 18:54

I wouldn't get pregnant....I so wanted children but going back I wouldn't have any and concentrate instead on having a career.
To explain why would take too long, but really, I should never have had a family, so much sadness and complications would have been avoided.

OMG13 · 27/03/2023 18:58

Retrain as a doctor

Dragonfly97 · 27/03/2023 18:58

Go back to college, then university, away from my home town.

PurpleAirGuitar · 27/03/2023 19:02

Not finish with Andrew C. I'm sure it would have fizzled out when we went to university anyway, but the next year would have been more fun.

And wear the knickerbockers I made, rather than be embarrassed about them. There was never a better time to wear knickerbockers.

Tell my friend not to take that job working on Piper Alpha next year, he died in the disaster in 1988
1 of the 167 victims still remembered.

changeme4this · 27/03/2023 19:07

Give myself a bloody good talking to about the next 3 guys I was going to be involved with, and another stern talk about who exactly were my friends and who didn’t have my back….

myles2608 · 27/03/2023 19:09

Cuddle my dad and tell him how special he is and how I love him so much. He died September 1983 I was 12. I didn't understand how ill he was 😥

cptartapp · 27/03/2023 19:19

Pay to get a retainer made at the dentist and wear it every night to keep my teeth straight.
My dentist has gorgeous teeth as an older woman and told me this was her secret. She'd worn one for years.
I had lovely straight teeth too. In 1983.

Sarahbumdaa · 27/03/2023 19:23

I would go and visit my nanna. I would totally ignore my ex husband.

mustgetoffmn · 27/03/2023 19:25

Have a baby

OMG! I had a second hand one of those as my first car! #safetyfirst! I now have an XC90. Love a Volvo!

Jackburger · 27/03/2023 19:44

Tell myself not to do whatever I did that made my mum ground me so I couldn’t go to Live Aid despite having tickets. Take my education more seriously. If I was this age buy property and Apple shares!

KateM91 · 27/03/2023 19:48

I was t born till 91, could I go make sure my parents don’t have me 😂

WestendVBroadway · 27/03/2023 19:49

Do more revision for my O Levels, and not get distracted while I was sitting them.

Morgysmum · 27/03/2023 19:53

Well I was 4 in 83. So probably nap time. Or eat something.

Selfesteem22 · 27/03/2023 19:55

Tell my parents I really didn't like my secondary school and I wanted to move schools- I was 12 -

Choose a different course at a different uni.

Similar thought - I wanted to go to Art College but Dad wanted at least one child to go to Uni, so I went to Uni and took a Technical course, as he thought it would be more useful. Life would have turned out very differently if I had followed my dreams...

Clarabellasingsthisbit · 27/03/2023 20:00

Choose a different wedding dress.
