The false equivalent here is that women are dominant and have to give way to the minority to be fair.
Except the minority are in fact part of the original patriarchy after all and the ground women lose compromises their safety and security.
If we actually had equality this wouldn't be an issue. But the social and physical advantages men have are largely still owned by transwomen too.
It's applying the same principles except the factors you're applying them to are not the same.

He's actually, publicly and with no shame, saying women being able to talk about their rape with other women is the same as men getting all the tee-off slots.

Women’s rights fought for access to where men were powerful (education, employment, financial equality, voting rights)., because men set it up so that women couldn’t access power or money. Women also fought for men not to be able to rape women with impunity.

At no time in the women’s rights movement did women demand access to where men were vulnerable, where women having access would make them less safe (e.g where they were naked, asleep or ill such as prisons, hospital wards, toilets).

Women’s rights might have made men feel less powerful, but at no time were men made less physically safe.

Rights men lost:

Legally rape/beat their wives
Automatic custody of children after separation
Ownership of all marital property
Being the only voters

Single sex clubs are still legal even though there are less of them so that's not an issue.

Rights BB wants women to lose:

Access to any single sex space (also affects men but has a disproportionate impact on women due to the behaviour of a minority of men)
The ability to describe ourselves in sexed terms

The rights men lost were rights over other people (women) whereas the rights women are looking at losing don't actually give us power over other individuals.

Some people may feel hurt and aggrieved to be excluded from a single sex space. That is worth considering against the other considerations of those spaces conferring safety on women and allowing them to access society comfortably. A good solution is to mandate third spaces or other access arrangements where possible to protect the safety and comfort of trans people.

That isn't what is being asked for though.

A PP asked "did men lose the right to vote - No?" but missed the fairly obvious point that after women's suffrage was achieved, men's votes only accounted for 50% of the theoretical maximum votes cast. Oh ... and men also, eventually, started losing their "right" to single sex spaces (e.g. Royal & Ancient Golf Club, St Andrews etc.).

The fact that men's votes only accounted for 50% after women's suffrage, doesnt mean they lost the RIGHT to vote.
Men lost the PRIVILEGE of being the only sex to choose which political.party should be in government.

Braggs twitter is about RIGHTS not privilege.

Oh.....and, if you think women protecting themselves from sexual assault and violence is the same as men wanting to have drink in a golf club, you need to seriously rethink your life choices.
