AIBU to be annoyed and at zero cucumbers in about 5 supermarkets I've gone to !!

Yep, cos there were loads in my Tesco today and I bought one for the first time in months.

Haven't been able to get any here either!! Highly annoying as they're one of DDs staple foods! (Autistic)

I went to 3 co ops yesterday. M &S today, Tesco on Saturday...
Don't think Sainsburys local had any.

It's crazy to run out of cucumbers!
Can't have a tuna mayo sandwich without cucumber. I love cucumbers as a side with various dinners.

They are very easy to grow so get planting in April inside. We had loads last year from three plants.

Never had a problem buying a cucumber. They had lots in Aldi and Sainsburys today.

Loads in Sainsburys on Saturday. I got a huge cucumber from a market stall but it was expensive, around £2.

Very annoying, also annoying that when you can get them they're whole ones where they could sell half cucumbers and give more people a shot at buying them 🤬

Oh ok. May try that. Even tho I'm rubbish at plants.

Lidl seem to always have the mini ones, I buy them for DD because apparently mini cucumbers are fantastically wonderful, the most delicious of all foods, while fully grown cucumbers are revolting and should never be placed in front of her.

Mini ones are also very easy to grow.

Morrisons has been the best for salad veg lately although Aldi was fairly well stocked with cucumbers tonight and even had tomatoes- no lettuce or other leaves though

Well I never, best go to Aldi tomorrow..

I’ve not had a problem getting cucumbers, but tomatoes and peppers are a challenge

I have got a cucumber

but am very annoyed at lack of choice of cheese

I cant have any soft or unpasteurised cheese - medical reasons

That leaves me with a choice of ....um... cheddar.

That's it. And that is all that I have found around here for weeks

Is rubbish.

Word on the street round here is the independent green grocers are fully stocked. It's the supermarkets who are struggling.

Not found a cucumber in any local supermarket in 3 weeks!

Seriously? There are loads in lidl. Sainsburys has the peppers. Tesco has naff all.

Plenty of cumbers I our local sainsburys. No peppers tho 🤬

But at least we took back control of our borders and money!
