AIBU to be annoyed and at zero cucumbers in about 5 supermarkets I've gone to !!

Seriously? There are loads in lidl. Sainsburys has the peppers. Tesco has naff all.

Within a 5 mile radius we have a big tescos, a tescos express, a lidl, a big asda and an aldi. The veg any of them has is sparse recently. I wasn't able to get lettuce or tomatoes for 2 weeks.

Loads in Aldi, East Anglia, today and most other salad vegetables too.

Forgot to say, I was in tesco today and they had plenty of cucumbers, but the price! And they stopped doing half cukes a while ago, for some reason 🙄

It's dreadful, as there were no cucumbers available I was reduced to having to use a courgette to try and frighten the cat this morning with rather lacklustre results.

I do hope they sort this out soon, although I suspect the cat is quite pleased.

Lidl seem to always have the mini ones, I buy them for DD because apparently mini cucumbers are fantastically wonderful, the most delicious of all foods, while fully grown cucumbers are revolting and should never be placed in front of her.

You need to go in first thing in the morning when stock is first put out (at least that’s our experience).
