Failed miserably at biology at school, but have since done a GCSE in my own time - I just got my result today and I got an 8 (an A in old money). I feel sure there must be some mistake, but I am so thrilled!

I did something similar with a language subject a number of years ago in order to qualify for a college course. It's an amazing feeling. I've never worked so hard for anything in my life before or since. The college degrees were a lot easier somehow. Well done to you, it's a lot to be proud of on a number of levels. Fair play!
