Pissing on the seat

cocksstrideintheevening · 28/02/2023 21:17

Ffs. This has been an issue for years. I have in the past wiped his toothbrush in the piss. We only have one toilet.

Once again I've sat in piss and I'm at the end of my rope.

I don't care if he leaves the lid up, I'll happily put it down, I just don't want to sit in piss. I wouldn't sit in a public toilet with piss on the seat so why should I in my own home.

I am royally fucked off and ranting.

This is grim all round.

If it were me, I'd March him into the toilet and hand him the cloth and cleaning spray and say 'clean up your mess'. Every single time.

Griefgood · 01/03/2023 06:57

Jesus! Two grown adults acting like this.

🤮

arethereanyleftatall · 01/03/2023 07:14

Jesus fucking Christ.

What is happening to so so many women in our society that they will be with any disgusting scum men rather than be single.

Relationships.
Are.
Not.
Compulsory.

LookingOldTheseDays · 01/03/2023 06:16

But you have hands, yes? And access to cloths/cleaning materials?

Absolutely
but leaving the seat up is a very easy option that suits everyone

abmac95 · 01/03/2023 07:32

ewwwww that's disgusting OP. You should be very ashamed of yourself.

AnuSTart · 01/03/2023 07:39

We all sit down.
It's utterly gross and he has zero respect for you in the first place by doing it.

gogohmm · 01/03/2023 07:57

Just ask him to wipe it, job done

LookingOldTheseDays · 28/02/2023 21:18

When you get to the point of rubbings your partner's toothbrush in piss, all respect and affection is clearly gone.

Why do you stay with someone you clearly hold in contempt?

Absolutely this.

jeaux90 · 01/03/2023 08:00

It sounds dramatic but I have split with partners in the past that do this. It's a sign of absolute disrespect.

HirplesWithHaggis · 28/02/2023 21:50

Put both seat and lid down every time it's used. It's as easy for him to lift both at once as it is for you to just lift the lid, and the seat won't be available to be pissed on.

Or leave the seat up all the time, he won’t bother to put it down.

BogRollBOGOF · 01/03/2023 08:07

In my years of training a child with dyspraxia to aim better, I did resort to confiscating the toilet seat if he'd left it flooded and uncleaned. My quads are strong enough to take the inconvenience of squatting, and better going in knowing I'm squatting than having an unexpected dip.

DS found that he cared a bit more when having to sit on the rim of the toilet and improved at cleaning up after himself. He was about 9-10 at the time.

Putting more effort into training up a child with a bit of extra hinderence is a different league to a grown adult who's supposed to be functional and responsible.

DRS1970 · 01/03/2023 08:14

Have you considered he knows about the toothbrush incident, and is pissing on the seat to exact revenge...

Yogagrandmum · 01/03/2023 08:17

This is exactly why unisex toilets are a bad idea…

arethereanyleftatall · 01/03/2023 08:34

Posters talking about medical issues affecting this are missing the point.

The point is - you clean up after yourself. Not leave it to someone else.

Would any woman ever shit on the floor, let's say by accident, and then just leave it there for their husband to clean. No. Never.

If you ever just leave it, what is the message you're telling the person you're leaving it to? You are telling that you consider them so so so far below you, that you are not remotely embarrassed because you can't care less what they think if you.

threeisacharm18 · 01/03/2023 05:18

This is very mean spirited and completely unnecessary

No, actually, I agree. What she did was disgusting and abusive. There is zero high ground for her.

TickledCrimson · 01/03/2023 08:57

This is a problem in our house too, I feel your pain. DH isn’t too bad and probably only does in 1/10 times but DS on the other hand is an absolute nightmare! Then I have to fight with him to clean it up, he’s 20 FGS, not 5. He seems to think it’s the maid’s job (aka my job) Not cool.

You do know that you have to kiss him after you’ve rubbed his toothpaste in piss don’t you??

WhisperGold · 01/03/2023 09:17

No piss was ingested in the making of this thread.

Unicorn2022 · 01/03/2023 09:21

This is why all the males in my house sit down to pee. My toilet isn't a urinal so not designed to have men standing up pissing into it. All men should sit down to pee on domestic toilets as far as I'm concerned.

Whiteroomjoy · 01/03/2023 09:34

I do wonder why urinals are not standard items in domestic homes ? It always seemed to me the ideal solution to stopping this - anyone know why we don’t ? Anyone taken step to have one put on? I guess in uk houses space could be an issue but even in USA homes I’ve never seen one

LadyEloise1 · 01/03/2023 09:41

Oh my !
Why are you still with him @cocksstrideintheevening ?
He has no regard for you.
You don't do that to someone you care about.

In my home too. DH thinks standing to pee is disgusting because of the pee on seat or floor issue. We've never taught DS to stand to pee. Sitting is natural to him, standing is not.

IsaacNewtonPoppleford · 01/03/2023 09:48

DP had a problem with his foreskin being tight and unable to pull back which he says was the cause.

And that would be the cause of him being unable to clear up his messes after he makes them, would it?

No, it's obviously male entitlement that does that.

🙄

(PP not saying you think the above, I'm being sarcastic.)

I have a 32 year old who can’t be allowed outside the garden gate alone due to his disabilities. Never ever ever has he left a dirty toilet behind him because despite his disabilities his toileting was one thing we could make sure he understood. Unless your son has a significant disability and needs help with his toilet etiquette there’s absolutely no excuse for doing what he’s doing and he needs told in no uncertain terms that he’s an absolute pig. What will happen when he lives with a partner? Is she going to have to clean up after him.

And your husband? 1 out of 10 times is still one too bloody many.
