No problem! Let me know how you get on. I'd say it was 4 weeks before I noticed a difference.

Got a coil implanted. No more periods. It’s brilliant.

Any side effects from it? Sick of having rotten PMT and contemplating this...

Not that I’ve noticed so far (have had it about 4 months). My PMT has improved, it’s one reason I got it.

OrderOfTheKookaburra · 06/03/2023 22:51

I felt weird for about 2 months after getting the coils, and then it all settled down.

Save money on expensive binoculars by simply moving closer to the item you wish to view.

I do a fair amount of online shopping, but also do a fair amount of returning items at the post office. I take a pic of the slip the post office gives me and this is incredibly helpful when chasing up a refund. I am very bad at losing receipts!

Make a list of birthday/Christmas ideas throughout the year so you don't have one massive expenditure in December.

Get bedtime ready as soon as you get back from dropping the kids off, then all you need to do is fill up their water bottles and close the curtains. Clothes should be set out for the next day. Pack school bags as soon as you get home from school or nursery. No faffing about in the morning.

+1 go buying all sorts of occasion cards in advance. That reminds me that I need to send one out tomorrow!

I put the dishwasher on at night but set it to start in 3 hours time so I don't have to go to sleep hearing the gentle noise of it on.

Folding carrier bags into samosas so they behave in a drawer and can be grabbed and stuck into your handbag.

Don't watch Netflix or scroll on IG or Twitter, and you won't feel so sluggish or down. Watch something uplifting and when sad, listen to some sad music to process and honour your sadness
